I am a fairly new bike rider and I made friends with JR who used to worked at the West Ave. location. I saw him out and he gave me and two of my biking buddies a coupon for a free tune up. This was perfect because all three of us needed one desperately. The coupon was for the Blanco location. I sent my friend with all three bikes due to the fact that me and the other girl left out of town briefly. My friend called me and said there was a problem. We all had to be present. I called the man up, Luis or something like that, he was annoyed, but finally excepted the bikes and noted that there would be a charge for the lube, 8 dollars each bike, I said that was fine. It took about a week and then we came to pick up the bikes. The man was there and was very rude. He also gave us a bill for $75 dollars when it should have been around $30. He explain that one of the bikes we had took more time to true the wheel. I understand that, but why didn't he call us and communicate what needed to be done. It was my friends bike. She barely had the money but wanted her bike back. On top of that the other girl that was with me her tire fell off when she was about to ride it. I guess they were in a rush. I felt bad about her tire and also that my other buddy had to spend 50 bucks to get her bike back. I am riding more and more lately and need things for my bike, but no way will I ever go there again. As for that guy, Learn some manners, It is the customers that pay you salary.
