i live around the corner so love headed down here for a nice brunch on the weekends. it is a cozy space and the service and food are always top notch.

Worst

How could they go so wrong with me when all these other review are so positive? We called the restaurant 3 days in advance to ask about vegetarian options, at a prixe fixed dinner...

Good Group Dining 3/16/2006

We have gathered on many occasions at the Beacon Hill Bistro on Charles Street. It's cozy but big enough for groups. The menu is high-end, but not overpriced. They do great fish, but I usually end up with the steak-frites. They could accomodate easily groups up to 20 people. Our servers were great. They have a new bar that is the perfect waiting spot or place to gather for an after-dinner drink. more

Newish, great location 8/18/2005

This beautifully renovtated hotel is relatively new. It is steps from the Boston Common and Public Garden. Located on Charles St. in the heart of beacon hill. If you have guests coming to Boston, I'd recommend considering this place as it gives you the feel of living in B. Hill. Nicer than the titanic hotels like the Westin, which are not in a walking-friendly part of town. If you're visiting Boston, I'd consider it. Especially if you like to walk around and would prefer not being in a mega-hotel. more
