I've been coming to this place for years, but likely won't go back. The service has finally gotten to me. It's consistently poor, but tonight was an all time low. Oh well. Plenty of better places without the bad attitude coming from behind the bar. The food is pretty bad too, so it's no real loss. Pros: cheap Cons: terrible service more

Great bar to meet people at for a beer. 9/15/2006

Cool place to lounge that might as well be a friend's house...too small to have a bunch of idiotic drunks in and they only serve beer. Pros: Good atmosphere and a great relaxing bar. Cons: None really. more

Get rid of your attitude, Portland... 4/10/2006

My friends and I have frequented this pub on Sunday nights for the last few months. I used to think it was a gem. However, last night the service was so terrible that I won't go back. The women bartenders seem to be pretty good at this place but the guy... total Portland hipster who can't take the time to be bothered with pouring you a drink. My friend and I waited and waited, watching him do anything else possible but get us our beers. Finally he looked up at us and I told him what I wanted but he actually served the people behind us first. Yeah. It was ridiculous. As a Portland native, this type of thing is exactly what I'm beginning to hate about this city. There are many other places to go on a Sunday night. more

Great fun palce 3/7/2004

Simple and sweet little beer pub. Fun and good times to be had. Good pinball and a real nice fish tank! Great place to meet up with friends or find new ones. Pros: Cheap beer, cozy corners, between everything more

great little neighborhood joint 5/28/2002

what a great little pub... relaxed unpretentious yet still hip kids hanging out and having a pint and playing pinball while a great juke box played sweet tunes. and some of the best beer prices around. Pros: cheap beer, great bartenders, best juke box around Cons: small, too crowded trivia more
