Austin Gutterman came out to put gutters on to an addition we had built a few years ago. They were easy and pleasant to make an appointment with and were even early for the appointment (I was a bit late because I assumed they would be - oops!) They worked with my budget and I was even able to get some rainwater collection for within what I wanted to spend. They took just as long as they said it would, were neat and tidy, and the gutters look great. Everything went way smoother than most home improvement projects. This is the first time I've ever gotten gutters, so maybe this is the norm, but I highly recommend them. more

I'm writing a review not only for Austin Gutterman, but I contacted Senox Corporation, their supplier, to let them know what a great job Austin Gutterman is doing in representing their product line. Austin Gutterman replaced the gutters on my home and did a really great job. Their VP, Bobby Frazier, listened to our needs and came up with a perfect solution, and their friendly and efficient installer went out of his way to ensure a quality installation, even volunteering to come back to increase the length of the downspouts to protect our home. I've been recommending Austin Gutterman to all my friends and colleagues, including several in the construction industry. Thanks again for the great work on our home. They put up new gutters on our house. They didn't put enough down spouts and the ones they did put on the house were installed at high points along the gutters. So...when it rains, the water overflows the gutters due to the downspouts being too small in size and not enough of them. Also, because of the way they sloped them, an inch of water sits in them for weeks after it rains and we have mosquitoes all over the place and sludge in the gutters. I have contacted them 3 times and tried to get them to fix this terrible gutter job and they refuse to do anything about it.... So now I have to pay someone else to fix this mess. Trust me, don't waste your money on this company. When you have a problem, they will conveniently ignore you or they will try to charge you to come out and fix the problems that they created. Austin Gutterman sold me on the GutterHelmet product and even though very expensive I agreed. The install was not according to the contract and when a leak developed within weeks of the install (due to the install) the service manager just wanted to warn me that it was not due to the install and if they came to inspect I would be charged for the trip. Weeks later, more rain, and more extensive leaking. Called the salesperson to complain, he explained that he would get right with the service department and get back to me.....several days later and no call. I suppose I will have to consider a lawsuit to get any attention. I would not recommend doing business with this company and I will file a complaint with the BBB. Austin Gutterman recently did a great job of adding some gutters to our house. Their sales person showed up on time, was extremely knowledgable, and showed me all of the options without being pushy. I used Austin Gutterman in 2003 to install gutters, they did a good job though were expensive and didn't clean up all the metal shavings when they finished. I recently used them again to install gutters. Their bid was ridiculously expensive ($500 for a 20 ft fascia board?!) but I wanted the same gutter that was on the rest of my house so went with them (didn't buy the fascia board.) They installed the wrong gutter and downspout. When I called to let them know, the receptionist was patronizing and and said they did what they were supposed to do. I finally got past her to someone who could help, and instead of sending people out to fix it, I had to make another appointment to have the installation evaluated. Now, a week later, after it was agreed the gutter installed was not the right one, the wrong one remains on my house. I haven't heard a word from them. BUT I have gotten one card thanking me for my business, another asking for referrals. Avoid these folks. more

After almost 4 years of problem free service with your product, it was time to sell our home. The certified inspector representing the buyer found an issue with the gutter that had to be addressed. I believe that the inspector was trying to justify his fee paid by the buyer, but a minor defect was detected. We got in touch with Austin Gutterman regarding this problem and everyone, from the person on the telephone including the tech that made the repair was nice and courteous as can be. Thank you and your staff for handling this matter in such a timely, professional manner and warranting your product.
