When my IMac crashed, I was ready to start crying because the last 6 years of family memories, documents, etc were all there and I was a fool and never backed any of it up. I remembered the hilarious commercial that a couple of actor friends of mine had done for ACS so I decided to call there first. It was 6:30 and although they were closing at 7pm and I had a ways to drive, they stayed open and waited for me to bring it in. The absolute best experience I've ever had regarding issues with my IMac. Windy Mills, owner of ACS explained what she thought might be the problem but could not make any promises. I totally understood that technology can be tricky and I was prepared for the worst. She was not only able to mirror my entire IMac hard drive but also got me a new hard drive with triple the short term memory as well as more memory on the hard drive than I already had at a reasonable and AFFORDABLE price!!! Did I say AFFORDABLE?? Yes I did and she and her staff provided incredible customer service. I was worried that I would be out a computer for a while because I didn't have the resources for a new so I consider her my IMac Angel. The turnaround time was only two days, she called me to give me my options and kept me up to speed on the status of the repair. When I went to pick it up, she had cleaned everything so well, it all looked brand new including my filthy keyboard!! She even gave me my original hard drive back and expained that all my data was still there and to hold on to it just in case I ever needed to retrieve my data again as well as the 1G short term memory card. I highly highly highly recommend ACS for all your computer repairs or needs. I can assure you that you won't get better service, advice or affordability anywhere else in town!! (BTW, the bad reviews that you see here from a few years ago are about the previous owners, NOT the current owners/staff) I can't thank Windy enough!!!! You have a customer for life!! more

I don't know much about computers but this place was really helpful. They explained exactly what they were talking about. They too the time to make sure I got the right thing. I love them. I highly recommend them to everyone. more

I was shopping around for a new pc. I visited several stores trying to find the best bang for the my buck and ran across ACS ( Amenity Computer Services, Inc.) They had several used computers for sale. I mean I found a dual core AMD processor with one gig of RAM. It had Window XP Home on it and was ready to go. I just wanted a extra hard drive, which they had in stock for a decent price. Of course I bought the Computer! I spent less than $300! And they gave me a 90 day warranty on it. I have had the machine for a month now and I would definitely recommend people to go here if they need a more up to date computer with out spending an arm and leg! I took my laptop over the Geek Squad because I couldn't get my sd card out of the slot. So one of the technicians there took something flat and sharp trying to pull it out which it just damaged the slot......and then it wouldn't power on. I got a manager over there and he said they are not responsible for the damage but could send it off to get the board replaced for about $800. Pros: knowledgeable Staff, Parts for new and old more

They will test the part on the spot, if it is ""BAD"" and with in the warranty they will swap it out immediately or send it off to the manufacture at their cost. Buying parts from ""ALTEX"" (Stupid Suggestion) is a bigger pain to return. And you have to send the part off to the manufacture at ""YOUR"" cost. Pros: They are open 7 days a week more

If you never need service or to return anything ACS is OK. If you ever have a problem they will blame you by saying it is ""a bad experience"" meaning ""you don't know what you are doing."" They make it almost impossible to return an item. Altex is not too far away on 1604. Go there instead. Pros: Good prices and location Cons: Bad service, very difficult returns. more
