I should have read these reviews before making an appointment with this company. It seems they have a reputation of NOT showing up. My appt was scheduled between 8am -12pm. I called them a little before 12pm, since they had not shown up yet. I spoke with their ""receptionist"" who first of all, answered the phone by putting me on hold and yelling out to someone else while I'm still on the phone. Hasn't she ever heard of the hold ""button""? Then she begins speaking again but I have no idea if she's speaking to me or not. I then asked if she was speaking to me. She rudely replied yes. I asked her if she would please confirm what time a technician would be showing up for my 8-12 appointment. She asked a few questions and then rudely states that she doesn't know what happened to the paperwork and that they didn't have me down. With no consideration what-so-ever, she asked if she could reschedule me. I explained that we had to make special arrangements at the house to have someone there for the appointment and that they've been waiting since 8am. She simply did not care! We went back and forth until I realized I had wasted enough time on these people. I explained that I did not want to continue doing business with this company and advised that we would be looking a different company for repairs. I hung up and found and called Mr. Appliance of SA #493-4447. I explained the dire need of services. The gal I spoke with was so helpful and very empathetic and needless to say we scheduled an appt right then and there.
PLEASE, do yourself a favor, especially after reading the other reviews, DO NOT waste your time on calling Alamo Service!!!!!!!!
