ABC Bakery Cafe

here's another place that contributed to my day going bad, so early. i came in a little after 1 gentlemen who were standing by the door. from the looks of them, they're agitated and fidgety. clearly, they've been standing there for a while and clearly being ignored by the servers. i thought this is going to be great, i could feel it. after over 20 minutes of standing and still being ignored, a table opened-up and the gentlemen seated themselves. fed up of the wait, and not caring even though the table hasn't been bussed yet. and so i wait. another 2 minutes or so, another table opens-up. i seated myself and copied the other gentlemen. they're Chinese and should know the protocol on how to get service at this restaurant, so as disgusting my table's state was, i just sat there. another 20 minutes pass, everyone else has been served at the restaurant by now. the gentlemen has coffee by now, there are 8 more tables that have opened-up AND bussed. mine is still filthy. i'm trying to catch the server's eye by this time. no such luck. i gave up and walked out the door. starving, and vowing to never go here again. more

ABC Bakery is a decent place to go during the middle of the night. They offer a variety of American, and Cantonese dishes, and various pastries offerings. There prices are very competitive with anything out there that is a sit - in establishment. They also offer take out options, and are very well known for there pastries. Parking is a bit difficult to find, but if your a value oriented consumer, this is the place to go. more

ABC Bakery Cafe is a good cafe to visit when you feel like getting some good portions for very little money. They mainly cater to the Chinese pallet, but they also serve American dishes (such as steak, fries), Japanese (udon), and Italian (spaghetti and fettuccine). Most of their dishes are under $5, and they have daily specials that cost even less. Best of all, they are open very late so you can get that midnight snack, whether it be a noodle soup or rice dish. more

Like most other Chinese bakeries I have gone to, this one also came with a hungry mob of eager customers. You have to be aggressive and loud to get you order through to the baker. The service was awful. They were very impatient and acted like they did not want my business. The food there was mediocre at best. more
