Very honest and stand behind their work. Wouldn't go anywhere else 8/18/2007

My A/C wasn't working so I took it to them thinking it was going to be something real expensive based on what another mechanic had told me. Ben White Auto found out that all it needed was some freon which was very INEXPENSIVE. It was quite a relief. I just moved out to Austin and I'm very glad that I found a very good and honest automotive shop. I would recommend them to everybody. Their deal with the car rental place if they have to keep your car overnight is pretty nice as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Pros: Extremely honest and dependable. Customer for life!! Honest and an excellent value. It took 2 days until they could look at my truck but they kept in touch and once they got to my truck the work was done that day. Its a busy shop for a reason. more

Great Service-Fair Price 7/20/2007

I dropped off my car for a brake inspection at 10am and by the early afternoon I received a call from Oscar with a detailed report on what my car needed, my options, and a pricing list, all of which seemed fair. I was so impressed, I dropped off a second car when I picked up the first car! Thank you Ben White Automotive. Pros: Love the service! Cons: I drove by twice and missed it-need more visible sign more

honest and excellent service 7/13/2007

I recently took my car to the South location. The manager Mike took good care of me and just as promised he called me up before mid-day (I dropped the car at 8AM) with the diagnosis. Pros: Honest, reliable, very timely and keeps their word. Two thumbs up! Cons: None. more

I brought my vehicle here early in the morning for an oil change and to get the brakes checked. Eight hours later, no work had been done to it. more

I worked with Oscar on getting some work done to my vehicle. He explained exactly what was going to be done and quoted the price of the work. There were not any gimmicks or come ons or phone calls saying I needed other work. more

Great Service 6/12/2007

Ben White Auto fixed my car and it was great. I liked the service and the quote was accurate. My roommate and I both use this location and reccomend it to all our friends. They'll even answer anything they can over the phone, and they don't make up stuff that's wrong and add it on like it's an emergency. more

TERRIBLE 6/12/2007

The quote I was given was at least $300 more than the qoutes I recieved from any other place. They charged me $150 just to tear my car apart and leave my parts in a box. They put the wrong tire on my car and refused to address the issue. more

Honest Auto Shop 6/7/2007

I went to the Dealer to get my a/c fixed and they wanted 600 to do it. I brought my car to ben white and they did it for less than half the price. They were also very speedy about fixing it. I would highly recomend them and would definitley bring my car back for any future repairs. more

They are truly honest and possess the upmost level of integrity. For a single female, this is hard to come by in the automobile service industry. Great for Auto Repairs 5/22/2007

I went to Ben White Automotive because smoke was coming out of my car. They were able to look at the car the day I called them. I gave them my best description of what was wrong and they took care of my car. I recieved my car in the next few days they gave me a good price. They also put up with my dad and I asking a lot of questions. I am sure that our inquisitive nature was annoying, but they took the questions with a good nature. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pros: quick, and friendly staff more

Wouldn't trust anyone else with my car! 5/8/2007

I've taken my car here twice within, oh, 6 or 7 months (PM on the timing belt, and brake work), and have gotten the best service on both occasions. Reasonably priced, too. Hey...if my landlady takes here car here, there's got to be a good reason. No wonder they're always busy! I'm not taking my car anywhere else. Kudos to Oscar and his crew for (another) job well done!
