Apparently my battery ruined my alternator. So, they put in a new battery and alternator. They tried to charge me for premium brand new parts on a 12 year old car. I did some rese...

Superb Service! 4/24/2007

Even though we took our truck in for a minor repair, we received excellent service from the start. When the repair was completed (which it was done in a very timely manner), Oscar thoroughly described what was wrong, why it was wrong, and what was done to fix it. Excellent customer srevice 4/23/2007

I have been using Ben White Automotive for 8 years. They do the diagnostics first and then let me know the cost up front. They have never gone over their cost estimate or misdiagonsed the problem. I drive 40 miles to get their service. Pros: High quality work Cons: Not opened on Saturesu more

Everyone needs a doctor, a hair stylist, and a mechanic they can trust. Well these guys don't do hair, but the sure do a great job fixing my ailing auto. I go there for regular maintenance and when trouble arises. Every time, it is reliable, service that it fast and friendly. more

Great repair and customer service 4/19/2007

I am sending another review because I did not understant the ""rate it"" scale. I have been informed as to the repairs in language I can understand and pricing was explained fully. Oscar is great. He explained everything very thoroughly and gave me all the details that I needed. They are very upfront and let you know what you need and let you weigh all your options. Very friendly! =D My poor old car was practically dead and they brought it back to life. I am very satisfied now. They worked with me, and even jumped through flaming rings to make me happy. Thank you so much. =D Pros: Excellent customer service, fast, friendly, knowledgeable Cons: The sign is pretty small. The first time I went it was a bit difficult to find. more

We have been Ben White automotive customers for over 5 years now and have been very pleased with the service that we have gotten on our personal fleet of cars. What is most beneficial is that they are careful to let us know what will be done, how much it will cost and frequently give us updates while the work is being done. They have always given great advice on what actually needs to be done. We typically drop the car off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. On several occasions, the shop manager Oscar Whisenant has offered to give me a ride to work! more

Superb service 3/25/2007

Took my vehicle to another auto repair shop and they estimated the repairs to be around $400. A friend suggested Ben White Automotive. Took my vehicle there after work. They replaced a hose and my car is running good again. I will tell all my friends and family to bring their vehicles here first and foremost. Pros: Service more

they had great customer service. friendly and knowledgeable. i felt like i could trust them with my auto repairs. i got my radiator replaced, and they did it quickly and also did a good job. i haven't had any problems since. Great for a college girl 3/18/2007

This was a great shop for me beacause I'm a student and a girl. I felt safe that they weren't taking advantage of this fact. The service was great and I felt like a top priority. The location was great too, because there are 3 bus lines that run directly from campus to a few blocks away from the shop. Pros: timely service, friendly staff Cons: hard to find more

Fast Friendly Service 3/13/2007

I just moved here from San Diego and was looking for a reliable mechanic to take a look at my Xtera. I had been told by several others back in California that I needed my brake rotors replaced. My car is 4 wheel drive so it is quite expensive for this kind of work. After calling around and getting quotes I took my car over to Ben White and not only were they the cheapest they were also fast and up front about what my car needed. It turned out that everything was fine, the brakes were squeaking due to dirt build up. They were great, very friendly and professional. They didn't even charge me to look at the car! It is great to find someone to work on your car that you can trust and you can trust the crew at Ben White Auto. more

They rocked 3/12/2007

i was in a bad situation, i had just returned from a funeral in the middle of finals and my fuel pump took a dump, i couldnt get there to take care of all the paperwork after my car sputtered to its nap.....they worked with me getting my vehicle to the shop, took care of what needed to be tended to and got me back home for Christmas, these guys are high quality.
