They were very friendly. I had my car broken into and needed my window fixed. They were very fast for the repairs and did a wonderful job. Everything was priced at a fair and reasonable price. I am already a repeat customer there. more

Their customer service is top-notch 10/20/2007

From the front desk service to the mechanics underneath your car, these guys treat you right. They definitely go the distance to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. They are respectful and polite, which can be rare these days. And they make sure that the job gets done right. Once you've been to bad mechanics (which I have), you get a greater appreciation for the quality that you get at Ben White. I've brought both of my cars there many times and plan to go there again. Pros: Service, service, service. It's fantastic. Bend over backwards to treat you right. Cons: The entranceway can be difficult to find and enter on that busy stretch of road. more

Great Customer Service. Really cares about it's customers 10/16/2007

I have been going to Ben White Automotive for several years for my car repairs. Everytime I have gone Oscar has always been helpful and willing to explain what really needs to be done to the car and what can wait. He has always been upfront as to how long the repair will take. He has stayed late on occassion to make sure that I was able to take my car home that day. Communication is something that is lacking with Ben White Automotive. I have really enjoyed working with them to make sure my car was running properly and would recommend them to a friend. more

friendly, clean atmosphere, everyone is real nice. They hear what you have to say. There's no job to big or small Ben White Automotive does it ALL. Oldschool Pop's auto shop 10/15/2007

Since the moment i walked in the door, I felt like they new me. They treated me how they would like to be treated...with honesty and integrity. They didn't suggest a bunch of unnecessary work to be done to get me tense and worried. They focused on what was important...and made me want to come back to them when I needed auto care. Generally, mechanics make me uncomfortable. But these guys made me feel comfortable . I appreciate they way they do business! Best repair shop in town 9/26/2007

I discovered Ben White Automotive last year when I had to get a new air conditioner for my infinity QX4. I had done a lot of research and his price was the best. Not only that but the customer service ROCKS!! Since then I have sent several friends and they have raved about the customer service and job they did. Not only that they get the job done quick. It is nice as a women to go into a place and feel like you are not being lied to, and that is what you get at Ben White Automotive. Pros: They do what they say they will. Always professional. Cons: Oscar is down south and I live North more

Wonderful experience 9/20/2007

I found Ben white Automotive thru city search. The reviews I read were positive and almost too good to be true, especially compared to past experiences I've had with other auto shops. But my own experience with them confirmed what I read. I left feeling good about the whole thing and never felt suspicious that I was getting the run around. They were honest in their recommendations and extremely fair in their pricing. They also helped me get a good rate on a rental. I'm really glad I found a good, honest, and accommodating place to take to my car. I'll definitely be going back to them for any future car troubles. more

All Around Best Service 9/20/2007

Was skeptical at first because my father has been the only mechanic to work on my car in 9 years! I am pleasantly surprised with Oscar's service, very friendly and courtious. They not only fixed my car, they did it under the expected price and on time. I dropped my car off in the morning and had it back that afternoon just as promised. I will recommend their service to anyone who needs it. Pros: Absolute best experience from service to price. Cons: Wished I would have used them sooner. more

Honest guys with good service 9/12/2007

These guys were friendly, even when I wasn't (I had taken my car to 4 other places and had work done, none of which fixed the problem). They were quick to get my car back, worked with me on the price, and were honest about what was necessary and what wasn't. I'd recommend them to anyone. I'm really glad I found them on here, I won't take my car anywhere else now. Pros: Great guys, honest, and willing to work with you on price Cons: Took a bit longer than I had hoped, but still not bad timing more

Best Automotive Shop 9/12/2007

This place is great: the professionals here are thoroughly competent, efficient, friendly, quick, and helpful. They'll be totally honest with explaining what you need (they won't try to ""up-sell"" you costly repairs that you can live without). They'll lay all your options on the table, present you with the facts, and let you make the call. They'll help you save a buck, too, while they're at it (in the short term, but especially in the long run). I've been here twice (for different repairs) and am thoroughly satisfied. I'll definitely be coming back here next time I need repairs. Bottom line: great people, great service. more

Top Notch Auto Repair 8/28/2007

Have been in Austin for 3 years. Had several different experiences in auto repairs. Repaired 2 old cars at Ben White Automotive, a Honda Accord and a Mercury Villager. In all cases the service was prompt, competent, trustworthy, professional and honest. They do what they say they will do. It is my go-to shop. Highly recommend it.
