Review content:
We purchased a used mobil home from Campbell & Associates; Rhonda Campbell was the agent. First, she kept telling us the hold up was that the check didn't clear. It was a credit card check and the clearing date is easily determined--on our statement; therefore, she lied. Next, we attempted to secure the title in our name. After weeks and weeks of calls and begging, Rhonda insisted she felt uncomfortable sending the title via U.S. mail. I suggested sending the title certified, return receipt requested--a method I frequently use for important papers. Instead, she was going to give it to the driver who moved the mobil home to our property. This driver spoke no English and apparently knew nothing about the title or any paperwork. We purchased this mobil home on April 11th; it is now June and we are still trying to acquire our title. The agency no longer takes our calls and never responds to our messages. Rhonda's cell phone mail box is full! We actually drove up to Albuquerque but the person covering the office was unable to find the title; Rhonda was unavailable. In six weeks, this agency should have given us the title for the mobil home we purchased. We have the mobil home--but the agency has made no effort to give us the title that Rhonda swears is already registered in our name and sitting in her office. Good customer relations is something that helps business; satisfied customers spread the word. This agency is incompetent. With today's skyrocketing gasoline prices, we cannot make impromptu trips up to Albuquerque [82 miles] to secure what should have been provided for us. Check has cleared--over a month ago--and the mobil home is moved, but the title is still being held hostage! *****P.S. On June 5th, we were finally able to receive the title, which was NEVER registered in our names! This agency is incompetent and this agent is irresponsible and unreliable. Pros: Friendly sales person--to get the sale. Cons: Once you purchase, the incompetency of this sales person is overwhelming. Office manager, Adam, makes excuses but no effort is made to provide service to ensure a satisfied customer.
