If you are looking for somewhere just to have dinner, or somewhere to host a special occasion. The Hotel Boulderado is THE place. The food in their restaurant is spectacular. They had a wide selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Their wine selection spans the globe. It was a very fine dining experience. If you are looking to have a special event here, look no further. The event coordinators are both professional and experienced. We had our wedding reception here and they made it a magical experience. They treated us like we were royalty, it was amazing! Aside from the staff there, the building and decor is so classy and historical. All of our guests told us how beautiful the whole reception was, and that is largely to do with the Boudlerado staff.. BRAVO!
PROS: great place to dine or celebrate!
CONS: None

Have stayed here a few times. The location is great for CU, especially when you need a suite. The rooms have a seperate bedroom, living room has a pull-out couch which works out well when kids are along. Breakfast is included and is great; eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, toast, yogurt etc. Service is always friendly too.
Pros: suite, seperate bedroom

Heated pool etc. was nice -- I haven't been to a hotel with a sauna in a long time. Breakfast was very good and free which always makes it taste better :)
I was able to bring my dog with me and they were very excited to see him -- they even gave him a little gift package with a picture of the owner's dog and some treats!
Pros: allows pets, free internet, free food
Cons: very busy

A campgroud of sorts with a great setting, very clean rooms and a friendly staff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and living room. The price for being so close and yet remote from Boulder is a great deal...and once a customer you get a discount on future stays.
Pros: value, clean, setting
Cons: 1 bathroom in a 2 bedroom suite

A co-worker of my husband recommended this hotel for our first trip to Boulder. We did our homework on the internet, and confirmed that this was the best place for us. The town was beautiful and full of wonderful little restaurants. The hotel was very nice and quiet. All in all, we had a great experience. I would not hesitate recommending the Boulder Inn.

We stayed in this motel for three nights over Labor Day 07 and was very happy. It is really tucked away from the city. The owner/manager was super nice. We loved the visits from the squirrel, fox, and hummingbirds. The city park is across the street and has very nice stream that goes thru the park. The bed could have been more comfortable.
Pros: best price around/secluded/very pretty
Cons: very basic room, would have liked a more comfortable bed

Right across the street from the University of Colorado main campus. This hotel is very unique. With all the cookie cutter boring hotels out there, this one stands out. The lobby has a beach volleyball court, rock wall, and a great indoor pool. This hotel would be great for a family on vacation in Boulder.

When we stayed at the Briar Rose (on our wedding night), it was under new management and service was inconsistent. We were told we could check in early, but when we arrived, no one was available to check us in. They double booked our room and had to move us. To their credit, though, the room was very nice, they brought us a very nice breakfast in bed and gave us a gift certificate to make up for the poor service. They seemed sincerely apologetic.

We have stayed at the Boulder Outlook Hotel twice, and had good experiences both times. We originally found this hotel through Expedia.com, but our reservation was messed up. The front desk was great about sorting the mess out and getting us a room quickly. This is a unique hotel - brightly colored and has an indoor pool and recreation area. It's conveniently located right off of US 36 as you come into Boulder, and has a great atmosphere for kids & families. I would stay here again - and I would recommend it to friends & family.
