My car's starter went out and AAA sent Milstead's wrecker to tow my car. They parked it at their lot and it was there a few days. While AAA covered the cost of the storage... they charged me $25.00 or $35.00 to do a "diagnostic exam". They called me with the results but could never give me a definite diagnosis of what was wrong. Their conclusion was "well.. I think the starter don't work and possibly oil is leaking on it and shortin it out but I really can't tell!" How unprofessional. I got gyped out of some money. I had the car taken over to my husband's brother's down the road. They replaced my starter and the car worked fine again. What I'm saying is.. why take it to some fancy place that can't give you a clear diagnosis on something as simple as fixing a starter. All you'll be paying for is that Milstead name. Pros: They have a big garage Cons: They want money to tell you absolutely nothing.
