Well, there aren't too many bars in the WTC area to choose from. However, next to the Patriot, The Racoon Lodge is the next best place in my opinion. This place is a nice dive with $2.50 PBRs, however their other drinks are a little pricey for a dive bar. Their jukebox has a variety of music consisting of rock, hard rock, some country, and some hip hop. However, the patrons seem to play a lot of hard rock here which can get annoying after a while. Their large screen television is positioned perfectly so everyone at the bar can watch the games. The male bartender who worked Saturday night was friendly and the wait time wasn't long to get a drink. The place wasn't too crowded, but definitely a nice hang out. This place is not the kind of place you would want to hang out in all night, but it's perfect for a last minute drink before catching the PATH train home from the WTC. Pros: Large Screen TV, jukebox variety, friendly bartender Cons: Too much hard rock music, drinks other than PBR on the pricey side
