Review content:
I tolerated my childs teacher and her hatefulness because I knew that we would be moving. My daughter ran up to hug her one day, and she ""growled"" at her saying in a very irritated tone ""What?"" ""What do you want?""... She continually told me that my four year old was lazy. Funny, she is not at home or at her new daycare. Hmmm. When I first enrolled her, I asked if it was a natural progression to graduate into the Pre-K class. I was told that it was. When she was of age for the Pre K program, I questioned one of the directors about why she was not in the Pre K class. They told me she was. I then noticed that another classroom was labeled Pre-K and had all kinds of artwork and projects outside the door. They told me it was the Kindergarten room. So why was it labeled Pre-K then? I questioned the staff about that, but again I was told my child was in the Pre K class. Later, we discovered she was the oldest one in her class. She had not been moved because the Pre K was full. My child had been going there for over two years...they enrolled new children in front of her. Now, it is the summer of her Kindergarten year, and my child knows nothing- doesn't even recognize letters of the alphabet. My child is smart and not some problem child or idiot I assure you. Shame on me for paying out the backside for a Learning Center rather than a ""daycare"" so that she would be taught the skills that she needed to know. I am very dissapointed because I really liked the staff and thought that they thought more of me and my child. I am a working Mom that wishes I had the time to teach her these things myself, but I just don't have that choice. That is why I paid for a Learning Center. My Mother went to watch a Fiesta parade put on by the school, and not knowing of the situation, asked why my child was in the ""baby class"". She got the same response, but when the records were pulled and the ages looked it was obvious that we were looked over. We never did get an apology or explanation. Pros: Clean environment, good infant staff, encouraged parent involvement. Cons: Negligence of student/ child needs, tuition hikes within a week of tuition due.
