I called before i went in to see if i could just get a quote over the phone for a wedding dress alteration. I understand that its hard to give a quote over the phone but, i gave a detailed description of what needed to be done, and what material the dress was made in. Had no beading, and was made out of silk. She couldn't even give me a ball park number of how much it would cost. She said you need to come in and let me see it first. So i went in on my lunch break and she was very nice and professional. She complemented my dress, but after she told me the price i saw why she was being so nice. She wanted to charge me $300.00 for them to take in the sides, get a bussel, and fix a loose button!! I then told her how rediculous that was and said it was way over my budget. So i left and went down the road to FIT Tailor at park and preston. They were just as profession and quoted me $88.00 that was with tax included!!! I was still thinking that was a bit to high, but i really was in a rush to have it fixed for my bridals! I havent picked up the dress yet so idk how the quality will be, but i am hoping it will look great.
