Review content:
I stumbled upon the Greenwood staple, Pete's Egg Nest a couple years ago. I figured they must be doing something right if there is always a line out the door on the weekends. And, I was right.
There are probably 20 different scrambles/omelets to choose from (my favorite: Athenian Greek Scramble with pita bread), basic pancake, french toast and breakfast specials and if you feel like lunch - turn the menu over and enjoy one of their sandwiches, salads, soups or burgers.
I find myself craving Pete's every Tuesday for lunch. It's a great spot to reflect on projects for the rest of the week, and to wind down after a crazy morning.
This quaint, family-owned and extremely family-friendly restaurant will leave your tummy full and your mouth smiling.
Pros: Family friendly, neighborhood eatery
