Throroughly unsatisfactory. Note: I have not purchased anything from them; this is a comment based solely on speaking with a Philadelphia Runner employee on the phone.\r

I purchased a groupon on 10/1/09 for Philadelphia Runner - $19 for $40 worth of goods. Sounded like a great opportunity to try out a store that is normally out of my price range, but I had heard that they had great selection and good advice.\r

Sadly, I will never know. My groupon expired 4/3/10. I realized it today, 4/9/10. I called to ask if I could still use it and was told, "No. We're sorry but we cannot accept expired groupons. If you bring it in, we can give you 15% off. We don't make any money on groupons, but you can take it up with them." Six days from the expiration date?!? I would expect this type of money grubbing and inflexibility from a Walmart. Or a Dick's. But from a local business that's supposedly known for it's awesome staff and high-quality merchandise, I was surprised and disappointed.
