Central Dairy is a place for everyone to visit in Jefferson City. Watch as they dip the ice cream from the tubs at the counter or in the old fashioned seating area. The flavors are just like the ones you'll find in any store in town, only fresh. There's something cool about having a cone in the same room where generations have enjoyed flavors made the same way.

I found ECC to be a good place to get my bearings. After leaving a larger four year college, I needed to figure out my interests and get my confidence back. ECC was perfect for such a need. I explored college classes in a less threatening area. I learned more of what I wanted in life and I met a lot of interesting people. The main draw-back, which may be true of junior colleges as a whole, is that there exists groups of pre-formed friends from area high schools, which makes it hard for new folks to fit in.

What a school. The problem is the first year. There are a lot of weed out classes. But the quality of the instruction is second to none. And let's face it, if your degree is from Wash U, it goes a long way. The reputation is well received. Additionally, Wash U features the nicest campus in St. Louis. It costs a lot, but if you can foot the bill and get in, go for it.

Webster was the perfect place for me. I finished my undergraduate work here and realized that I could handle this four year college thing. I discovered myself and my interests. What sets Webster apart is the class size. While some undergrad classes feature hundreds, Webster keeps class size around 30-40. You feel more a part of things. You can stand out here. And there are great professors and an awesome library. I am very glad I went here and I know that it is a great place to figure out your future.

New to the area, we went here. Dr. Eisenhower immediately put me at ease. She really cares for your pet. She is flexible too. She schedules emergency appointments. She is loving, even to new dogs, she has never treated before. Additionally, she called me, TWICE, for follow-ups to make sure that everything was alright. I don't know any other vet who'll do that.

If you are late (after 6pm) to pick up your pet, they charge by the minute. Their hours are a little restrictive and there are no weekends hours to speak of. Now, I'll admit, he's not a true pediatric dentist, but he's a good "family" dentist. You can all go to him and trust that you are receiving great care.

This is the best coffee shop in Bowling Green. It has good java and it's open relatively late. The one caveat is that, as a result of being within a college town, it is frequented by college kids. So, if that bugs you, you'd better stay clear. Therwise, its fun to just people watch over a latte or hang out with friends and discuss politics, the weather, the opposite sex, what have you. The atmosphere makes it all better, even the good coffee tastes better.
