Not being from the South BBQ was something you did not something you ate. But one visit to Stameys and I was hooked. They do put a sauce on the BBQ which is vinegar based so if you don’t like vinegar ask them to put it on the side. They also offer frozen BBQ for those of you that want to keep some on hand and it is equally as good as the fresh. Some other things to try are the hushpuppies and the cobblers both get an A in my books. They are very reasonably priced and very busy. They are closed on Sunday’s.
