Dr. Prescott is a very sweet man who has had years and years of experience performing amnios. When I chose to have one with my second pregnancy, it was Dr. Prescott who performed the procedure. He was highly recommended to me by my OB/GYN, who said that he was who she herself would want to do the procedure if it were her.
He is a sweet, elderly man who obviously tries to be gentle with his patients and put their mind at ease with regards to the procedure. He was calm and reassuring and I felt like I was in very capable hands. He has been doing this for many years (performing the first in Portland, I believe), so he really knows what he is doing.
