Great theme park for grade-school age 8/7/2005

This small amusement park is just down the street from Knott's Berry Farm, and is not very well known. It is a great alternative to the larger theme parks in the area if you have children still in elementary school. The rides and attractions cater to young children, and many parents are encouraged to sit alongside their kids. There is a petting zoo, arcade, small roller coaster, Thomas the Tank Engine/ Brio play area, and even a small train that traverses the tiny park. They are not open everyday, especially during the school year. Parking is not ideal, as the lot is shared by shops, but admission is only $12.95 per person, and there are sometimes discounts with your AAA card. more
