So I was out shopping with my gal at Saks and she was giving me a hard time about my hair because we were meeting her family for dinner later and I was due for a cut. She sends me into the salon to get a quick trim while she finished up her shopping. I admit I was a bit nervous b/c I am used to the neighborhood barber shop and I had never been to a salon before. But the staff there made me feel right at home. Right after I was told I would have to wait a few min., the man behind the counter offered me a cup of coffee while I waited. And this is not like freeze dried coffee that?s been sitting around all day, but a freshly brewed cup of gourmet coffee just for me. \r

When the stylist was ready she escorted me on back to her station. I told her what my plans were later and that I wanted to make a good first impression with her family. Now I could tell by this girls hairdo that she had a good and modern sense of style, so I asked her what she thought would be a good cut for my lifestyle b/c I have no creativity when it comes to style. Well after she washed and cut my hair she explained to me how I can create a more stylish look with some texture cream for that messy look and a more conservative look with a it little bit of hair gel and combing a little different. So I bought some texture cream for home and when I left I was so refreshed and confident. I felt completely the opposite from when I walked in. \r

I never got such great service and advice from my neighborhood shop. I am so glad that I listened to my gal and went into the salon that day. And of course she loved my new look and thing went really well at dinner with her folks that night. I would recommend this place for everyone; a great staff really does make a difference. Thank you.
