The Art Deco atmosphere is definitely a feather in their cap here. The food was good, but not terribly unique. I enjoyed my beet salad and lamb chops, but had better versions (or variations) of the same meal at 561 in Pasadena where the Culinary Academy students work the kitchen and the dining room. I would recommend Traxx if you're downtown looking for a dining option, but I wouldn't make it a destination dining experience.
