I love the Mountain People's Market/Co-op. They have an amazing selection of bulk items (flours, seeds, nuts, etc.) that you cannot get at any grocery store around here. They also have a nice selection of coffee, tea, organic, free range, & local items. Some things do cost a bit more, but it's worth it for the quality. Plus I prefer to buy local. Their parking lot is small, so I usually park in the parking garage on Don Knotts Blvd, the lot on the corner of Fayette & Chestnut St, or on University Ave.
