Although the Baltimore Water Taxi service has gotten some bad press lately, I have yet to find a comparable way to see all of Baltimore in one day. The price is cheap cheap cheap, considering you get to travel via the boats all day, PLUS they give you a map with a ton of local coupons for free pints and discounted food for places you'll probably float right by. I think this is also THE best way to visit Ft. McHenry. You have to do a bit of transferring from one boat to another direct ferry, but it's so worth it. Nothing beats taking the water taxi at night and getting a one-of-a-kind view of the Inner Harbor!

I held a bridal shower for my best friend at Brighton's--it is the best place I found in Baltimore to have a sophisticated afternoon tea. They have a lovely menu of assorted teas, sandwiches, scones and pastries to choose from. The service was unparalleled, and they have a great view of the Inner Harbor. From the high ceilings to the yellow silk covered walls, Brighton's makes you feel like you're enjoying a spot of tea with English royalty.

The Ride the Ducks of Baltimore tour was wonderful. We had a great guide and he got everyone into blowing their quackers! Everyone on the boat was having fun and laughing. It takes you all over on land in Baltimore and then you go into the harbor water and get some great views of the skyline and surrounding areas. Both young and old will appricate this tour!

Celie's was a great place to stay. I will definitly go back. I was in Baltimore from Indianapolis for the weekend to party and Celie's was just what I was looking for. Right in the middle of Fells Point yet very quite when I was in my room. Carrie (the hostess) was very helpful and went way out of her way to make my stay as comfrotable as possible. Continental breakfast in the morning was good and the rooms were very clean. Celie's has great location and easy access. It will be #1 on my list next time I'm in Baltimore. Again thank you so much for all your help Carrie.
Pros: Location, Location, Location
Cons: Can't think of any

The USS Constellation Museum is so cool because it is on the actual USS Constellation. The ship is the last all-sail ship built by the US Navy. At the museum you learn what life was like on the warship during Civil War times. Another cool thing about this museum is that unlike a lot of other museums, there are many hands-on exhibits. It's a lot of fun for everyone.

Stayed one night and was very happy with my choice. Very vibrant, unique environment and rooms. Free breakfast buffet with loads of hot and cold food. No simple continental here. Nice staff and prompt service to room (towels, extra bed). Clean room and bath with Kohler equipment. Steps away from the whole vibrant downtown. ESPN Zone, Hard Rock Cafe, Sightseeing, attractions. Will stay here again.
Pros: Location, ambience, cleanliness
Cons: None

The Radisson Lord Baltimore is located convieniently between Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Camden Yards, The downtown location may not be the safest at night, but it is certainly central to area attractions.
The rooms at the Radisson are very nice and comfortable--- modern comfortable beds and nicer furniture. They are also very clean with extra pillows.
The lobby at the Radisson reminds me of something out of a movie filmed in the 40s or 50s. The dark wood and dark-colored carpet with high cathedral ceilings make this area feel stately and old. The elevators even recall days of the past.
The staff at the Radisson was very helpful and helped to arrange airport transportation and services that I needed during my stay. I recommend this hotel.

My family and I visited Balitmore on June 13-15 and had the pleasure of staying at the Brookshire Inn. Their customer service was the best that I had received in a very long time. The rooms were clean and the views were great. The Brookshire is located just a block away from the Inner Habor and three or four blocks from Camden Yards. We parked the car on Friday and picked it up on Sunday on our way out of town. We purchased tickets for the National Aquarium at the hotel which prevented my family from having to wait in the long line.
My kids looked forward to complimentary breakfast each morning in the Cloud Room. Members of the hotel staff handed out coins that could be exchanged for a prize in the treasure box. Mr. Bobby Nelson, Executive in charge of Housekeeping, was exceptional. He took time away from his busy schedule to help my family plan activities in Baltimore.
Although, I did not have an opportunity to indulge in the lobby social, I thought it was an excellent way to say thank you for chosing the Brookshire.
The next time that we are in Baltimore, my famliy will definitely book the Brookshire Inn.

BWI is one of the major airports serving the Baltimore/DC area--and is by far my favorite one. It has many satellite lots with cheap parking, which is probably my favorite aspect of this airport. Additionally, it has a very nice observation deck--great place to waste time if you're waiting for your flight. They have free parking in the garage closest to the airport for 1hr--perfect in order to pick up a loved one without incurring a ridiculous fee. All in all, they seem to have thought about what a consumer might want in constructing this one.
