This is probably, hand-down, the best zoo I've ever visited. It's huge. The animals all seem well cared for and happy. There are little things to do strewn between just seeing the animals like climbing into a birds nest for a picture or crossing the suspension bridge. The snack pavillion provides the perfect break and there is fried dough... not funnel cakes (this make a big difference to me). There is a train you can ride on with the kids and a couple of small amusement like kiddie rides. A great deal for the low admission price.

This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. The library is housed in a beautiful block-long building, and the grandness of the library lends an air of importance to the experience. The selection is quite impressive and extensive. There are also plenty of instructional tapes and videos. Don't expect to find tons of comfy chairs for hours of reading, but there are a few. There are plenty of computers with internet access, however there are time limits, and the majority of the stations are standing only.

Our daughter spent four wonderful years at this University. It is not for sports minded students. Academics takes the forefront. Small, intimate campus in Northern Baltimore. Although located in a city, the campus has very good security. Professors go out of their way to help students learn. Dorm rooms are average. Learning capabilities are endless for those students who want to go the extra mile. Although expensive, it is money well spent for one's children's education. A degree from this university opens the doors to all kinds of opportunities.

Me and my grandmother and three kids went here one weekend in October looking to try something new and exciting. We came back from the class and were hooked on clay and ceramic making. The class was very basic but loads of fun for all ages. Non profit organization that teached you to be artistic.

More
Hamilton Community Preschool is a real find. The teacher is Montessori trained, but the tuition is kept very low to encourage local enrollment. The kids all love the teacher and thrive under her care. The school is a parent cooperative, so parents get to be actively involved in their children's education.

Wanna learn to sail, this is the place to check out!! I went wit a friend this summer and we learned so much and had a blast at the same time!! We even were invited to race on Wednesdays with the crew. The crew all had been sailing for years and love every moment out on the water and it shows. They really know how to have fun while teaching

I could probably write an entire book just on Johns Hopkins University--but I'll try to keep my comments brief. I think that Johns Hopkins University is a great school--it opens a lot of doors, particularly if you're aiming for grad school. That being said, I also think it is a very competitive, often unfriendly, place. If you're looking for a school where the professors all know your name, invite you over for tea, and call you if you skip their class--don't go to Hopkins. On the other hand, if you want a world class educational experience, learning from some of the most brilliant minds in the world (even if you are one of 300 students in a class) Hopkins might be for you. It's definitely not for everyone--although I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

My sister sent her son her about one month ago she was suprised by the end results. Her son passed the class and eventually passed the driving class after taking the test twice. She said the instruciton could have been better, but it was adequate. Her son also made a few new friends the only problem is that she would have rather seen him take more into the learning aspect.

Good place to go if you're white and preppy. Basically it's a typical jesuit school with a bunch of stuck up kids from New Jersey and Long Island. But it's a good time if you hang out with the right people and good bar scene as well, not too high strung, very casual. Good teachers and professors who are always there to help. Good study abroad programs, can go to New Zealand which is pretty choice if you ask me.
