Beadazzled is a good place for people who make an occasional piece of jewelry or who need help getting started. It's also wonderful for unique finished jewelry and other gift items from all over the world. Their book and magazine selection is excellent, as are their findings. Prices tend to be on the high side which doesn't matter much if you just do a few things now and then but you will do better with the big mail order places if you get into this bigtime. The help is mostly patient and friendly but can be a bit short during busy times. Metered parking on the street.

Atomic books is right in Hampden, in a cute little house. Its small, but don't let that fool you. There's a huge magazine and zine assortment, and lots and lots of interesting books to browse. Be on the lookout for readings and other activities here - it was lots of fun when the Found Magazine people came through! The prices are good, and you can be happy that your money is supporting a local institution.

The offer a wide range of photographic services such as general film processing and extra stuff like addiing special borders or creating effects such as sepia tone. The staff take great care to produce high quality results and they are pretty reliable as far as delivering on time is concerned. Unless you live close by, it may not be as convenient as your local drugstore or supermarket, but when you are looking for some special work, it is worth it to go a little out of your way to get the job done right.

They had the exact dress that I wanted and the seamstresses made it look great on my very disproportionate body! My friends said I couldn't wear that style dress - but the seamstress (I think she may have been the owner)did a great job. I also bought my bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding there in 2007 and they were great then too.
Pros: Experienced Seamstress
Cons: No Sunday Hours.Parking

I am a liquor store owner in carroll county,md. I was working late at my liquor store and suddenly someone had came in to rob it. When he went to run out he broke the glass store door. So the Caplan salesman recommended crash bars which has deterred robbers from getting in and out. And I advise who others who may experience others who may have these problems to call a Caplan Salesman.
