It was closing time for them but my car broke down nearby. I walked into Brentwood in a desperate state. Ed had it towed to the shop and arranged for me to get a ride home. They fixed the problem quickly and I have not had any problems since. I am now a HAPPY Brentwood Customer. I would not think of going elsewhere!!

I feel car repair places could easily take advantage and suggest repairs I don't need. Three Brothers fixed my car for half the price of another shop. They made honest suggestions and I was treated like a valued customer. I would definitely recommend Three Brothers to my friends and family. Thanks Donna B.

Even being part of a huge chain, this Meineke has the feel of a local mechanic. Everyone in the office is very nice and very low-pressure. You'll never get a call saying they found something else wrong and it's going to cost you $300 to fix it (unless you actually do have something horribly wrong). They do their job, care about your business, and are straightforward with even the least knowledgeable customers. They also have a mechanic on staff who is a 6-year veteran of Saturn, which happens to be my make of car.

Me and my husband are do it ourselves kind of people. Every now and then we find that we can't fix our van ourselves. In that pickle this is the place to go. They are super honest. Every time we we've taken our car there it's been less than actually quoted. They are great about calling you prior to any work being done and even tell you the problem and let you fix it yourself! Great honest and reliable place.

Last year my transmission went up on my car and I was referred to Bill and Earl's Automotive. They rebuilt my transmission in on week and had me back on the road with a two year warranty guarantee on their work.
Before speaking with A-1, I was very uncertain about my choices, whether to buy a new transmission or rebuild. They took the time to explain the entire process, pros and cons.
I highly recommend A-1 for your transmission needs.

I went here for a new muffler and the guys treated me very well replacing the muffler for around two hundred dollars. The service was guaranteed with money back if not satisified. Good place to take your car for basic service I cannot comment on the bigger problems such as brakes. They seemed like good mechanics though.

Nicholas's Fleet Street Shell has pretty good gas prices, however don't believe their discounted days (as far as I can tell the signs have no correlation with their actual gas prices. It seems to be a family owned business and they have a small convenience store inside. It's also a good place for oil changes and minor repairs. They may not always have your car ready at exactly the time they promise, but they do a reliable job at a fair price.
They are also open plenty of hours, so overall I'd give Nicholas's Fleet Street Shell and A+ for convenience.

I got my fuel injection here and boy was it a good injection. My car ran great until it died a while later (unrelated to the mechanic here). Try this place out, they are experts in their fields. Just maybe get a diagnosis elsewhere, I paid through the nose just to get a computer hooked to my car. Good luck and happy driving! (a bit expensive but worth it).
