Excellent pastries, pies, and cakes. Never tasted anything so good! The service was a pleasant experience on my first visit. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes homemade food, which is good for the soul. When visiting Woodlea's Bakery during special occasions or holidays, I recommend you place your order days ahead of time to beat the rush so that you will not have to stay in a long line to get your treats. You will be back no matter how long you wait guaranteed.

Rhebs chocolate is the best I have ever tasted. It is much better than Godiva and at the price they charge, you can't get a better deal anywhere. Prepare to wait in line for a few hours if going around a holiday. But it is well worth it.

If you've got a group that can't decide whether to satisfy their sweet tooth or enjoy a pint, give Xandos a try. This coffee bar is what it sounds like, a combination of a full service bar with a coffee shop. This one is open late, which is great for when the other restaurants in the area close for the night. The s'mores are probably the most widely known, but I suggest any of the arctic mochas.

I have been to other bakeries, mostly kosher and I have not seen one that is so well organized and clean as Goldman's ...They have a great selection and their staffing is always friendly. My wife and my children try to go at least once or twice a week together and it is considered a fun family outing

I just moved to Baltimore and was pretty darn upset to find that there was no genuinely good tasting challah in the city. I found Pariser's by accident, and I have never been happier. I can not attest for their baked goods, but my husband and I are huge fans of their sweet challah. Its only two fifty per challah, and the challahs are huge!

As a former Bostonian, I am used to walking no less than a block and seeing a Dunkin' Donuts--so I was particularly pleased to find a few here in Baltimore. The shop on 41st street provides the same familiar facade, however I find that the service in this shop leaves something to be desired. Their menu is the same granted, but I've often found employees to be fairly unpleasant. All the same, I go there frequently--a good cup of coffee is really all that matters at the beginning of my day.
