The Friday pierogies are warm, buttery, and perfectly fried. They make the melty sundaes feel a bit less guilty... after all, you did eat a 'real meal' prior to devouring the deli...

The SceneOn a busy corner of Henry Avenue, this friendly storefront welcomes customers with a bright ring of painted ice cream cones around its window. Inside, cow-prints and a black-and-white photo or two make simple decorations, while old-fashioned glass jars boast rock candy, Now & Laters, licorice and lollypops. The FoodLocally made ice cream comes from Rosenberg Dairy, in an all-American array of flavors. Blueberry swirl frozen yogurt, toffee-like cappuccino crunch and raspberry sherbet provide pleasantly difficult choices. Just-baked brownies make a comforting, chocolate-y basis for a gooey sundae. A nice surprise is a selection of inventive, generous sandwiches, such as three cheese with zippy cranberry mayonnaise, and tender roast beef with horseradish mayonnaise. It's all homemade, and all served with simple, courteous care.
