After using the same hair stylist at a different salon for 7 years, I switched to James at Wildflower. He was so amazing! I can see why people have to book him so far in advance. James was polite and so fun to talk to, he did a great job with my color and cut. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. His reccommendations were great. The style I wanted wasn't the easiest to do, but he did it perfectly and my color turned out so beautifully. The atmosphere at Wildflower is great and the whole staff is very friendly. I left feeling so confident that I had a great haircut, a great experience, and have found a great new hair stylist. James is a great stylist - he discussed what was best for my hair, addressed my concerns and did an amazing job! On top of his magic hands, he was friendly and had a great sense of humor. He never pressured me to buy any products the salon was selling - which I absolutely hate when people do that. Overall it was a no-pressure, whatever-I -wanted kind of haircut - just how I like it. Wildflower Salon is the best hair experience I've had in Austin. James is a genius and is probably one of the nicest people you'll meet. His color is amazing and the cut you'll receive will be exactly what you want - only better! I never knew my hair could look this good! True, Wildflower is NOT the place to go if you are on a budget. However, I have the BEST hair stylist in Austin. I also got one of the best massages ever at this location. Ask for James for hair and Amanda for massage - they are true professionals. I am always offered a glass of water and get a great scalp massage with my cut. There are also plenty of up to date magazines to read. I also love the Aveda products - the color conserve is perfect for my highlights. If you have the $$ I would highly recommend!
