I can’t say enough good things about Whittaker’s. It is definitely the cream of the crop in auto body repair! From the time I made an appointment to have an estimate done until I picked up my car, I was made to feel that I was their only client. Each employee I interacted with was friendly and professional. My car repair was done perfectly, ready when they said it would be and detailed inside and out! My husband had a very similar experience a few years ago when he needed repairs. What a great place. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. It was absolutely no hassle at all to take my car in for repair, and when it came back it looked like new. In addition to the work we contracted for they took the time to buff general wear-and-tear scratches on the side of the car that wasn't getting fixed. I'm so pleased with the service I received at Whitaker. Manual was very attentive from the initial estimate to the final delivery of BMW X5. He was patient, understanding, answered my "too many" questions and always kept me updated on the status of my car. This shifted a negative situation and inconvenience into something positive. I've never seen my car so clean, even the tire rims were spotless, and the damage to the front end was completley erased. Thanks! I took my Accord in the Monday before Christmas, and I was promised the car would be done by Friday. I had to drive to Houston for Christmas, and doubted that everything would fit into my wife's VW Beetle, but I doubted that I would be driving the Accord. I recently had my "fender bender" repaired at Whitakers, and couldn't be happier with the entire experience (unless, of course, I hadn't had the fender bender in the first place....). The staff were friendly and responsive; they explained all the work, handled all of the details with my insurance company, and had my car ready at the promised time. If LQQKS were the only aspect of getting your car fixed, then this place a winner BUT unfortunately that's not the case. The repair looked good but there was something about it that didn't sit well with me. Fast forward 2 months later and I happen to notice my car didn't have the make & model on the back where it's suppose to be! Here I sit in a Macy's parking lot surrounding by every nice car you can think of and I'm not feeling too shabby because I drive an ACURA TL...or so I thought? These fools had forgotten to put the Acura TL Type S emblems back on. I wonder how they forgot...the car was smashed directly in the back and nowhere else, so there was no need for that mistake. I called and they promptly acknowledged the slip and asked me to come in when emblems arrive (5 days- was holiday weekend). I did. I asked if they needed a picture of where to place the emblems...I was told "no" and that they "had pictures of the Acura TL." O.K., fine suit yourself I think. Long story short: the emblems were put on too high, the GPS was acting up (it was in the back @ impact area) and I heard a funny rattling noise by the tailpipe just that morning! Mind you, I hardly drove this car and decided at that very moment it wasn't going to work for me: I traded it in for a new model that day!!!! So boys and girls if your car needs more than a cosmetic fix: this is not your place, sorry :-( Pros: null Cons: null more

When I first got some body work on my car all looked well until I took my car in to my mechanic. He asked me "has anyone worked on your car recently?" I told him "not in about 6 months, when I took it in to get some body work done at Whitaker's, why?" He told me that screws were missing, and a hose to my compressor or condenser was left unplugged. more

My vehicle wasn't an insurance claim, so I shopped several auto body shops before choosing Whitakers. As far as estimates go, they were all fairly close, so the deciding factor for me was their great online reviews. I have to say that I was not disappointed in the slightest. These guys actually get it. Best customer service I can recall at any business! And that's what a customer wants; to be treated like your business is appreciated. The manager, salesman, receptionist, even the guy doing the pin-striping were all great. They earned my future business and my referrals. Thanks again and keep up the good work! Whitakers recently repaired my vehicle after a front end collision. The price of the repairs was consistent with previous experiences that I have had - if not actually a much better value than dealerships in the Austin area. The job was done right the first time - no followups required. The vehicle was ready as promised and the folks at Whitakers did a great job at cleaning the vehicle and having it ready to go. Highly recommend this company to anyone who, like me, doesn't like auto repairs etc and wants a great experience from the run of the mill jobs etc. Pros: Professional Folks - Job done right the first time Cons: None more
