Best

10 cent wings on Wednesdays. You can't beat that. They are great wings too. Good beer selection, great fries, good burgers. Friendly staff. Can't really go wrong at the Waterloo I...

Worst

Regarding my $8 grilled chicken salad, the cucumbers tasted like insecticide, and there was a bone in the chicken.

One of my all time favorite places to eat! Service is awesome ...when they get busy the minor glitches will happen but that's too be expected - you just have to be laid back, people watch, check out what's on the multitude of TV's (ask for a channel switch if your favorite game isn't showing) and chat up the folks around you. \r \r Friendly and warm...home style cooking and easy on the pocket book. . \r \r Kitchen is visible so the wait staff has no need to disappear where you can't find them when you are in need of a tea re-fill or more blackberry jelly or you dropped your fork on the ground. The Wait staff help each other so ask any of the great staff members to help you.\r \r Maybe I'll see you there...just ask if Gwynn, the Realtor is in the House!! more

Horrible! 4/15/2009

Today for lunch, I ordered the fried mushrooms (very pricey 8 for $6.95, I expected a big basket) and the tortilla soup which consisted of tomato base water with large chucks of something green and large chunks of tomato. No chicken, no cheese, no tortilla strips and no avacado at $4.95. Both of these dished were poorly exceuted, will not go back. Pros: The waitstaff is excellent! Cons: Poor quality of food for the price! more

Such horrible service, never even tried the food. 1/27/2008

My family went here (first visit) on a Sunday at lunchtime and it was packed which is to be expected. As we walked in, someone yelled ""find a seat"". Only one 4 person table was available and it still had the previous guests drinks, but we sat there anyway. I flagged the busser about 5 minutes later and that was the only service we got. About 15 minutes later as we were getting up to leave the waittress asked us if we wanted menus. Instead we drove another 20 minutes to Hut's on 6th where we had to wait again. But this time, we at least knew that they knew we were there. This was our first time there also. The food was excellent. The service was probably the best I have had in a long time, especially considering how crowded it was and how horrible the service was at Waterloo. Pros: I hear great things about it Cons: The service was so awful, I'll never try the food more

More 10 cent wings! 6/16/2003

I just have to repeat what a previous reviewer said. You can't beat the 10 cent wing special! They're delicious, and they also have them on Sundays (after 5pm I think). Best home fries in town. The covered semi-outdoor area is really pleasant. They have large garage door style windows that retract, so it's cool when it's sunny, and protected when it's raining. It's a great place to just hang out with a pitcher & friends or a good book. Lots of regulars at this location (Burnet). Pros: wing specials, nice outdoor area, great fries Cons: service can be slow more
