The Best 4/13/2006

First of all, I would choose Water World and day over Elitch's. They have a great atmosphere and great rides. My favorite rides are the Bermuda Triangle and the Big Wave pool. They also have decent food which is a rarity at places like this. Every time I go I am satisfied. The only con are the prices but those are to be expected when going to a huge amusement park like this. more

Great Variety but Long Lines 11/5/2005

Water World is a family water park with a large variety of rides. There is something for all ages from wave pools to raft rides. They serve a variety of yummy treats at their snack shops. They are great for a snack but are very expensive for a full meal. They do have picnic tables set up so you can bring your own lunch. One drawback we have found is the long lines. The kids get very impatient in line for some of the more popular rides which we have stood in for hours. Also one of the raft rides you have to carry a large raft to the top while standing in line for a long time. It was difficult to do with young children. Other than that it's a very enjoyable day out! more

Fun water park 10/30/2005

Water World has been around for many years. They have made several very large improvements. They have alot of slides, for all ages. There are height requirements for some of them. The food is expensive, you are better off to bring your own. Bring your swim suit and towel for a fun filled day. The kids will come home exhausted. more

great Waterpark can be expensive. 8/8/2005

One of the best waterparks in the U.S. Great place for all ages, as has areas for everyone. Bring your own food and drinks, as it is expensive to eat and drink there. Wally World is great for the little ones, and they are able to go on some of the bigger rides with an adult. Be sure they can(will) walk up the hill on their own though as carrying a toddler and a raft can be a bit much. They need to follow some of the other major waterparks and get the rafts brought up to the top by conveyor. Affiliated somehow with Pepsi, not sure if they do the can thing like Coke with elitch, but worth looking into for some extra savings. more

great spot to cool off 8/2/2005

Surprisingly large for the mountain state, Water World is a great water park. There is a wonderful area for young children and many rides that toddlers may ride with their parents. The staff is attentive. You are able to bring your own picnic which saves some money on concessions. It can be crowded on weekends. more

You will get wet! 6/26/2005

Water World has been a Denver Attraction for over 7 years! It has amazing fun rides and even a special park for the kids! I havnt gone one summer without visting. There are over 50 rides and over 1,000 people each day. There are also great souvinere and food stands. And a few gift shops. So dont forget your bathing suits when you come to denver because this is one park you wont want to miss! more
