Gary's Auto Service is a rare find; fair estimates and quick service. We have been taking our cars here for years and have never been disappointed. Gary has been a godsend in keeping my teenage daughter's car on the road. (You people with teen drivers know what I'm talking about) Anytime I call he gets her right in. He and his staff are the most honest and helpful mechanics I've ever dealt with in over 30 years of driving. There's a reason that his place is always full of cars...They're very good at their job!

I love this place. The service is great. The wash is even better. Their prices are good. I took my car there after a friend told me about them. I never thought that a wash that you take your car to can do this good of a job. I always have to take my car home and look for the spots they missed. Not at th Fire House, they are great.

Being a "WOMEN"- most shops see me as A EASY TAKE
this was the first time in --- forever --- I felt that this place did not take advantage of me -- my car had lots of problems and I needed them to do a care plan and tell me if this car was worth fixing -(and if it wasn't why not)
they fixed just want I wanted them to fix and gave me a run down on what needed to be done and how soon - without ripping me off ----" SO LADIES - BRING YOUR CAR HERE"

It's Monday morning and we are supposed to be on the road by noon, two o'clock at the latest. All I wanted to do is give the Jeep a quick tune-up and simple fluid change. That doesn't sound too difficult to get done in a couple of hours, right? So imagine my change in attitude when I went under the vehicle to remove the oil drain plug and found the two inch crack in the cross member holding the transmission in. My quick tune-up changed to a "What do I do now?" repair.
I live up the street from Penn Garage so I called them first. They're the type of garage that looks like an old gas station attendant would come out from if there were gas pumps. It's old, it's dirty, it's a real garage! But most of all, the guys that work there are real mechanics that can think outside the manual.
I asked if they did welding and explained what I had. Their reply was to bring it down, they were sure something could be done. I like the positive attitude of a mechanic that is not afraid to accept work. So I walked the piece down to them and dropped it off for the weld to be done.
Two hours later the piece was welded, cooled and painted over, ready to be reinstalled. He even put an extra weld on to strengthen the area so that the same problem would not happen twice.
Their prices are reasonable, especially considering the neighborhood. Let's face it, Denver is getting expensive to live in and Penn is keeping it affordable. I'm glad to have such a great place so close to home that if my Jeep breaks again, I can always make it to the shop for repairs beyond my capacity.

My Wife and I have purchased several vehicles from Automotive Avenues and will continue to purchase vehicles there because the buying experience is so positive. We bring our vehicles there for maintenance as well, because whatever needs to be repaired will be done correctly and in a timely manner.
Now that we know about Automotive Avenues it is unlikely we wil ever by a car elsewhere. We always look for the same agent, Pat Shane, she is always friendly and respectful, over the years we have come to think of Pat as a friend. We recommend Automotive Avenues to any one that we know that is looking for a vehicle whether they are looking for new or used.

One thing I hate the most when it comes to car repair is leaving the car behind at the workshop. Good for me, these guys told me that they will not prefer to leave the car with them. The wait was very less and I had the repairs done in less than half the time other stores would ask for the same repair. The rates are also very reasonable.
