WaterWorld is a very very cool place! There are 42 different water attractions, or so. It gets bigger and bigger every year and is filled with so many fun attractions. I also like that you get a good workout while there because of the hike up the hills with the inner tubes! The wave pools are also a lot of fun and it even has some attractions for younger children. The only downside is the price, $28 each to get in, but discount tickets were available at Safeway when we went. Parking is FREE, which is so nice.

This amusement park is a pretty good deal for the price...but there is no way I would go on the weekend. Of course, I probably wouldn't go to ANY amusement park on a Saturday or Sunday, but since this one is less expensive than Elitch's, it tends to attract more teenagers on those days, who seem to act overly silly, but I'd rather avoid it during those times so my small children can enjoy the park.

First of all, I would choose Water World and day over Elitch's. They have a great atmosphere and great rides. My favorite rides are the Bermuda Triangle and the Big Wave pool. They also have decent food which is a rarity at places like this. Every time I go I am satisfied. The only con are the prices but those are to be expected when going to a huge amusement park like this.

I'm not into big amusement parks with roller coasters and rides like that. This place is more my speed and I think the go-carts and miniature golf are a lot more fun and a lot more interactive if you're out with the family or on a date. My boyfriend and I had a great time racing each other around the track here. The place is a little bit too loud, but you'll have a lot of fun.

I have a 3 and 5 year old and we got season passes to this park and LOVE IT! We live in Highlands Ranch, so we drive to the light rail station and ride down there (the train ride is half the fun!). They have a large number of rides to suit this age group and a water park, also. We have been going during the week and there have been no lines for the kids rides which makes it that much easier with small kids. The season pass includes admission to some special events there as well, such as the Halloween special event. We will likely get the passes again next year. By the way, I don't have to pay for my 3 year old because 3 and under are free!

It is getting warmer outside, and that means it is almost street fair season in Denver. Taste of Colorado is at the end of the summer, and it is one of the best in a city with many street events. Taste of Colorado is almost always on one of the hottest days of the year, but it is never too hot to wander from booth to booth in the crush of the crowd, searching for the perfect funnel cake (or lamb kabob, or jambalaya, or whatever else strikes your fancy). There are the usual crafts booths and lots of musical stages, but food rules the day at Taste of Colorado.
