We looked for about 3 months for the perfect child care facility. We choose A Child's Touch because we were so impressed with the tour. This place is huge. There is a science center, a nature center, a computer center, huge play areas with age appropriate equipment. There is even a ball pit. Most of the employees have been there for over 5 years. In most centers there is a high turn over of staff. Not here. They keep their employees happy, which benefits everyone.
The prices are a bit higher than some, but they have a learning program. They do not just let the kids watch tv all day. You get what you pay for, and for us our kids get nothing but the best. If you are looking for the best, look no further.

The name can be misleading, but don't let that stop you! Colorado Free University offers some of the best and most unique classes around! My husband and I took a cooking class, which was top notch! Every time I look through their catalogs, I find classes I wish I could take! They offer computer classes, art classes, dancing classes, and the list goes on and on! It is a great opportunity to learn something new!

I had Michael play both bagpipes and guitar for my daughter's wedding and it was the perfect touch. His bag piping is dramatic nd my-oh-my does the bride make an entrance when he proceeds her down the aisle.
As a guitarist, Michael is second to none and he's great to have during the cocktail hour while guests are meeting and mingling. In addition to being one of his clients, I also work with Michael professionally at many weddings (he plays and I marry folks!) and I am always impressed by his repertoire, professionalism and calm demeanor. If you are going to "do" bagpipes for any occasion, there is nobody else but Michael whom I'd recommend!

My son started here when I first went back to work. It was such a comfort to have him near me downtown. During those first months, I was able to visit on my lunch hour. The caretakers are loving and warm. My son received excellent care here. We even took baby sign language classes with the teachers.

They have something for everyone in a well-lit and well-laid out store. The staff are particularly helpful and they will help you find what it is you are seeking, even if they don't have it in stock. Sometimes it's kind of refreshing to walk into a smaller bookstore than to be intimidated by several acres of choices!
They have a wonderful selection of children's books, which makes up probably half of the store. More offerings are available at their web site. Stop in to their store, though, for a wonderful neighborhood bookstore shopping experience.

This is a caring, clean, well run facility with a staff that is NOT counting the hours to the end of the day. They have fun creative things to teach your children with a mild emphasis on christian teachings. The facility is relatively new and impeccably kept up. The staff is sweet and the director is motivated and caring.

RRCC offers a wide range of courses at a good price. They have many different programs and degrees. I think they are one of the leading community colleges in the Denver Metro area. The instructors are equally as great and knowledgeable.

This small elementary school is a loving learning environment for your child. Truly a great school with experienced teachers, this school is lucky to be one of the small elementaries left in DPS. The 70's architecture isn't all that attractive but the facility is well maintained and air conditioned. Close to I-25 as well for an easy commute, if you are "choicing it" check out M-T.

More
I have had the pleasure of attending Metro State College of Denver for a semester and I must say that of the four institutions I have attended (yes, I have moved around alot) this is by far the best. The staff and teachers are all very helpful and attentive; at least in the Biology dept. You can walk in for counseling with a department advisor fairly easily, and they are always willing to answer any questions or offer advice. I have never had any difficulty in the business office or the veterans affairs office, and have always been helped with any queries in a quick, efficient manner. I believe since it is strictly an undergraduate institution, the staff is able to focus on the students a little more, plus money is poured into undergraduate classes, instead of graduate courses. For example, the Biology dept. offers a 400-level Cadaver lab. If you are local to Denver and need to finish a Baccalaureate degree, go to Metro State. It shares a campus with Community College of Denver and University of Colorado at Denver.

My oldest son went to Tarver from grades K to 2. My youngest son went there for grade K. We loved Tarver and hated to move out of the district. The teachers we had were experienced and good with the kids. The library is good, the lunches are tasty, and the computer classes are great. They also have art and music. We miss Tarver and would highly recommend it.
