Very professional 4/7/2008

I got my first tattoo done there by a guy named Shawn. It was a pretty large lower back tattoo (no, it's not a tramp stamp) and he did a fantastic job. I've recommended him to several of my friends and co-workers, many of them ended up going to him for their tattoos. He's very patient but still manages to make it as quick and comfortable of an experience as possible. They're also very sanitary and have pretty decent prices. I paid $230 for a 2 1/2 hour back piece with color. Pros: Great work, professional, sanitary, nice people Cons: Usually busy and parking's a bit rough on South St more

Warrior 4/2/2008

I have always wanted to get the Monroe piercing, I hate needles, I hate pain, but i wanted it done. So one night my friend and i were talking, and i decided i wanted to get it done THAT NIGHT so we went to the one on south street. We got there at 11:30...pm.. the guys there were awesome. The guy who got me the ring was really nice and the guy who did my peircing god bless the man. I was nervous because i read that if you have fuller lips it hurts, and welp my lips aren't exactly thin...but he was INCREDIBLE! he talked to me the entire time, really calmed me down, and you know it is a rockin peircings it looks awesome if i do say so myself. and it didnt hurt at all. He was incredibly knowledgeable about what i had to do to keep it clean and he answered all my questions. It was an all around good experience. i would go back again and you should too! Pros: knowledgable and friendly staff, tatented more

Excellent Place - Clean, professional, and awesome people. 12/1/2007

First of all, Warrior doesn't actually do tattoos, the place is called Moo Tattoo and they are directly next door. The phone number listed here is incorrect too, the number should be 215 521 1490. Anyways... more

Several good experiences 3/15/2007

I've actually had 3 piercings done at Warrior, 2 at the NJ location and my most recent at the South Street shop. Sage was my piercer recently for a c*** hood and made me feel perfectly at ease. When I asked him questions about which of two female piercings to get, he explained fully which was a better choice in general and for my personal anatomy. He explained each step of the piercing to me as he did it and threw in some jokes to make it less awkward. My friend who came with me was so impressed by the shop and Sage that she even decided to get her navel pierced after I was done being pierced. I definitely plan on going back to Sage for any other piercings I decide on. Pros: Funny, helpful staff Cons: Parking on South Street isn't fun more

Best piercing place to go in Philly! 8/31/2006

I got my nose pierced at Warrior twice. The first time, I slightly lacerated the piercing in an accident. The second time I got it pierced by Molly and she was great! When she pierced it, it started bleeding a bit more than usual because of the scar tissue that had developed from the first piercing. After a few months I developed a keloid (no fault of their own, my body was rejecting the piercing) right next to the piercing. To make a long story short, I had to take out the piercing. i went to Warrior to get it taken out and the guy who did it (I forget his name) was great! The area was pretty tender and when he took the hoop oiut it didn't hurt at all. He was also very knowledgeable in after-care and I followed exactly what he said. The keloid which was noticeable on my nose has disappeared and I have the people at Warrior to thank. Even though my piercing didn't take, I would still HIGHLY recommened them to anyone! They are great! Pros: extremely knowledgable, friendly, sanitary Cons: pictures of genital piercings all over the walls more

The place to get pierced in Philadelphia 7/19/2004

I recently got my nose pierced at Warrior--Molly did it and she was great. She's very professional and made me feel totally at ease. There was quite a crowd (it was a Saturday night) and the shop is on the small side, but it kind of had the feel of a party. I'll totally go back if I decide to get anything else pierced! Pros: professional, down to earth Cons: , only one piercer more
