Visible Changes

I heard about Frankie at Visible Changes in the Highland Mall from my daughter,Francheska. I live in Houston,Texas and it is worth the trip to go and let him work his miracles on my hair. I have extemely curly hair and he has tamed it completely. He is always so friendly and upbeat that you leave feeling great. This last appointment I had at Visible Changes, Eden worked her magic also by coloring and highlighting my hair and it looks so good and natural. Frankie and Eden are the only ones that I will let touch my hair again.Everyone that works there is so friendly that I truly don't mind the drive up to Austin and I would recommend that everyone goes there, that is if you truly want your hair to look stunning. I have been going to Visible Changes at Highland Mall for 10+ years. I have never had a bad experience!!! Recently to save money, I tried to color my own hair and turned it orange. In a short amount of time, Evelyn fixed it and made it look perfect!! I am so happy with the result. I also wanted to note that she fixed my hair while I had a 2 year old sitting in my lap (not an easy task). Visible Changes has always been child friendly. All of the staff is very professional and excellent at what they do. I highly recommend Misti and Evelyn if you are needing any color services because they have taken care of me over the past years. Actually, all of the color specialists that work in the color department are great at what they do and have been there for several+ years (there is not a high turnover). Frankie at Visible Changes in Highland Mall is awesome!!!! He always does a great job with my hair and is the friendliest stylist I have ever come across. I've been to a number of elite salons in Europe and the U.S. and nobody could convince me I'd find excellent color and cut services in a Mall facility. How wrong I was! more

Vanesa Lara has been my stylist for some years now. She's seen me through my curly long hair stage to my new short and sassy no need to explain hairstyle. I get so many compliments on my cut it's almost (note almost) embarrassing. :-) more

I have been going to Visible Changes for years and still love how I look every time. I tried several other places before finding my perfect place. Misti is the best colorist. My mom and I both go to her and we get compliments and asked where we get our hair done all the time. After getting hot hair color from Misti I would suggest seeing Vanessa for a great cut and style. I have curly hair and it's not easy finding someone who knows how to work w/ curly hair. Vanessa is great with my hair and if you have straight hair she is good w/ that too. My mom has extremely straight hair that hardly holds any body but Vanessa manages to make it look full. more

Misty is a great colorist she usually knows what I need when I go in if I have a event coming up she knows exactly what to do. My hair looks wonderful and I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. I have been going to her for about 5 years now she is wonderful I highly recommend her to anyone who needs or is thinking about hair color!! more

FRANKIE from Visible Changes in HIghland Mall is really good at everything he does! His customer service is so amazing that i feel like i've been friends with him forever! He knows exactly how to do my hair and how i like it! If i come in and tell him a totally different hairstyle than i had he does it just like i like! I've had the pleasure of getting my hair styled by Joseph M for over 10 years now. Before being introduced to Visible Changes and Joseph, I did not care where I got my haircut. It just wasn't that important to me. For me, it was about finding a place that was not too expensive and decent. Unfortunately, I had to apply that old cliche each time I left one of those other places - You get what you pay for! I am a very picky person when it comes to getting my hair cut. I've tried every place in Austin like SuperCuts, Fantastic Sams and all the small name places. I'm from Houston and we have a visible changes in our malls and I decided that I would try the one at Highland Mall out. I was put with the Creative Director (Joseph) he is the most caring and friendly person I've ever met. He gives off the vibe that he [Joseph] is there because he LOVES what he does and appreciates his customers. He DOES NOT give off the vibe where it seems like he is just there for a job like some of these other hair salons around Austin. One thing that I notice when I leave the salon is that I only have to look in the mirror once and that is all I need to realize that my haircut is PERFECT! I used to have the habit of looking at the mirror at the salon and realize something is wrong with my hair cut but never wanted to hurt the stylist feelings to say something so I would go home and look in the mirror and try to fix my hair. THIS DOES NOT happen with (Joseph) I just need one glance and I know its perfect. I value him as a stylist and a friend b/c he takes the time to get to know you as a person. Joseph also takes his time with your hair cut NEVER rushing anything. All in all I hope he never leaves this salon b/c I couldn't imagine getting my hair cut from some one else. I am really picky about who cuts my hair, but FRANKIE does an AWESOME job. He really knows what he's doing. The thing is, he remembers you even months later unlike some stylish in a larger city. FRANKIE just does great that's just it. You have to get your hair cut by him to actually witness the perfection. Pros: EVERYTHING! more

I had a longtime hair stylist who moved away. I have been trying to find a good cut like I wanted it--not like the stylist wanted me to look--and it has been very diffiuclt. Then, I met Frankie. I had been cutting on my bangs myself and had made a big mess of it. He was not mean, but stayed calm and told me we could fix it and it would all be fine. Sure enough, he did just that. I am SO very happy with this cut, and feel so much better about the way I look now. Also, he took me on a Monday. Mondays are the best times for me, but so many stylists will not work on Mondays.
