\r \r WORST OFFICE STAFF I've ever dealt with. If you are looking at renting an apartment in this property, I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere. I've had problems with dealing with the staff and the information they provide since we signed our lease. When you move out, they will charge you for painting your apartment and cleaning the carpet so you definitely will not get your deposit back. On top of that, they will pile on fees at their convenience. Even if the office staff makes a mistake, you will still have to pay for whatever charges are added on, even if they were added there to no fault of your own. In reading previous reviews, I see that complaints about staff are a common thread, so clearly this is not an issue the manager is concerned about enough to correct it.\r As far as the property, it is very noisy since it is right on the flight path for most airplanes. The walkways and stairs are really dirty as the management does nothing to maintain the upkeep of the buildings. \r There are other properties in the area that may cost a bit extra but it's probably so worth it in order to deal with professional and helpful staff. \r more

They kill kittens!!! Not really, but do not live here!!! I have lived here for a year and can’t wait to till my lease is up. The plane noise, loud neighbors that you can here through the walls, and the dog poo you must dodge everywhere on a day-to-day basis is enough to stay away. Yet I have more…. The staff is rude and incompetent. The gates are always broke and when they are not people just camp outside till you drive out and then they sneak in. Cars are broke into often, I have personally seen 4 cars broke into since I have lived here. The construction from Wurzbach keeps dust on everything, you cant keep your car clean, you cant leave anything on your balcony without a layer of dust on it, and you cant open your windows or your home will be dusted. Every weekend there is always loud music until about 3- 4am in the pool area. I have even found people sleeping in the pool area when I take my dog out in the morning. The staff is horrible; I have had to resubmit every work order at least twice. My tub had a crack and it took them over a month to fix it. For a month I could not use my master bath while the dragged there feet to fix it. They will give you little notice when they gain access to your apt and will never give you notice when the power or water will be shut off due to construction. And the final kicker, I put in my 30 day notice last month where they gave me this huge detailed list of everything I must clean in order to get my deposit back, by far the worst I have seen from any apt complex. Then just yesterday I went to pay the prorated rent I have left (yes, you must physically go into the office to pay rent, no electronic option or internet option) when they said that I had not put in my 30-day notice. The accused me of lying about putting in my notice and threatened marking my credit history if I do not pay the full rent. However, thank god I kept a copy of my notice paperwork and went back in to show them. I did not get an apology and must wait till the manager returns in 4 days to get this resolved. \r Again DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! But if you must or are currently renting here then make sure you keep copies of everything.\r more

I leased here for two and a half years and it was definitely not worth the money!! It is advertised as a gated community but it is not safe to live there. The gates were always malfunctioning and even bent to gain access and repairs were not made until months later.\r \r I agree with all of the comments made in the 2 years here - not worth the money post. Everything they list is spot on! Especially the comments about the leasing staff - They are horrible!! The leasing agents have no customer service skills what-so-ever!\r \r I was wooed by the complex amenities and that s what lured me in. BUT PLEASE DON T BE FOOLED TOO. You ll never get to enjoy the amenities. Just as the other post stated Anyone can walk onto the property and use the amenities without being challenged. I have seen families and teens from other neighborhoods walk into our pool area and simply set up shop. Or they sit outside the gates waiting to drive in. This makes it difficult and unpleasant for residents when the pool area is crowded, our exercise and business office areas are trashed and kids use the hot tub at night. Sometimes there are pickup games in our indoor basketball court for hours and I don't recognize any one of the players as residents. \r \r OH and KISS YOUR DEPOSIT GOODBYE, you won't get it back at move out. I have lived in half a dozen apartments and have ALWAYS received my deposit back after move out. NOT HERE! They are charging me for dust on the baseboards and hard H2O stains in the bathtub. Oh yeah, and no matter how clean you leave your carpet YOU HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED NO MATTER WHAT. I lived in a 2-2; no kids or pets my carpet was left in good condition.\r \r \r You are MUCH BETTER off RENTING DOWN the street at SALADO SPRINGS; I lived there for two years and had no problems, except that I out grew my floor plan. HECK might as well rent there and just come and use the amenities at the villas, the rest of the neighborhood does!\r \r DON'T MOVE HERE; IT'S NOT SAFE OR WORTH THE MONEY!! We were not happy when we got here like we thought we would be. Bad noise from planes wakes baby who cries. Dog poopy on grass. People speed and even people who work here speed. Workers not much help. Things break too much time til fixed. So many people come here to use pool that don't live here too. No security. Other apartment we see has better things. Too expensive for what we have got. Good school. Rent very expensive to leave early. Other places near with more for less. You visit they are nice. You live here they are not. Pros: beautiful inside, nice pools, nice workout, nice school Cons: anyone can use things like pool and gym for they dont check you and they dont help you much more
