The best thing I can say about this place is that it's located right across the street from a Plaid Pantry, where I can buy copious amounts of beer to drown my sorrow over all the crazy things that are wrong with this place.
Sure, from the outside, it seems rather quiet and unassuming. But then, don't all apartment buildings?
First off, the plumbing is not so great. Toilets back up all too often. Water is frequently brown. You have to run the faucet for a full minute to clear it out. Exterior lighting is always burning out and frequently dark. I looked up code violations online and there are a few for this place. I'm surprised there weren't more. I guess people don't bother to report them, they just leave when their lease is up.
And yeah, people are always leaving. As a result, there are several units available as I write this, not that I'd recommend you take one!
To top it all off, the new property manager is also the head maintenance guy! Yep! He does all the work on the units. He has ""fixed"" several things in my apartment. His work is so bad that I have stopped asking him to ""fix"" things because it's usually worse off after he's done.
Steer clear unless you want more headache in your life. If you do decide to rent here, look me up and we can drink together. :)
