Very disappointed in the professionalism at the front desk. I arrive to my scheduled appointment with Heather only to find out she is no longer there! They refused to give me Heathers number and offered me 50% off to try one of the newest stylist on the floor....Amber or Treston. Needless to say I declined the offer turned around and walked out. They totally wasted my time, so those of you looking for Heather Huffman her number is: 512-968-3317. Hopefully I can save you from having the same experience! more

Good haircut/color and saved my ruined hair! 8/26/2010

I made the mistake of going to an inexpensive stylist (beware of Donna Lianne at Salon Republic!) who butchered my hair and made it really thin and uneven. Allison at Thomas Saverio was able to even the cut and my layers very nicely. I also brought some extensions for her to match my hair color to and she did a good job on getting my hair to match them. I would have liked a little more volume in the blowdry because she blow dried it stick straight. All in all, I am very pleased with the haircut (I got many compliments from friends) and learned my lesson that there is a time and place to save money, but your hair is not one! A $125 well spent : ) more

Great Salon Ask for Ashton! 5/15/2010

I am a student and all year I've been desperately trying to find a salon that's as good as the one I go to in Dallas. This salon uses great products like Kerastase and it's got an upscale feel to it without the Dallas prices. I saw Ashton today and she did a GREAT job - I'm a little picky and she listened to all my wheezing before touching up my highlights beautifully. She's a great conversationalist, too. I had come with a few papers that I had to work on and she focused on coloring, but once I was done she was ready to chat! I really enjoyed my experience with her and I think I finally found my salon-away-from-my-salon.... Pros: Professional, listen Cons: none! more

Ruben has been doing my hair for 5 years and he is the best at what he does. I get hair extensions for competitions and he always make my hair look amazing. He does great at styling, coloring, and make sure that the hair blends with the extensions. If you want to get a great service go and see Ruben. Best Salon In Austin 3/16/2010

I came to the salon to follow my stylist Jill Gajkowski. She has given me the best hair cuts and styles ever. She has also become a great friend who I cant live without! She is so talented with men and women's cuts, styles, and color. I love the salon's atmoshpere! My favorite part is my Stylist Jill. I love her so! Great haircut! 3/13/2010

I recently had my hair cut with Cara at Thomas Saverio and I absolutely love it! Cara listened to my concerns and took her time. It's very easy to style and I get compliments all the time! Also, the salon is really pretty and the customer service is excellent. I strongly recommend Cara at Thomas Saverio! more

Ruben Gonzalez is amazing!! 3/4/2010

My first appointment with Ruben was after a horrific experience with a different stylist in town. I wasn't sure if the cut could even be corrected. I went to Ruben and he worked his magic and I have been going to him every since. I even followed him to Thomas Saverio. The atmosphere at the salon is extremely comfortable and you a treated very well. I recently moved 7 hours from Austin to west Texas. I made the 7 hour drive last weekend just to have Ruben cut my hair. If you're looking for a trustworthy hair stylist than can translate what you have in mind into a beautiful haircut/color then you should definitely make an appointment with Ruben!! Happy with my new look 2/11/2010

I just wanted say thank you Ruben and all the staff at Thomas Saverio Salon & Spa! It was my first time there yesterday. Ruben cut my hair/highlights and i look and feel like a million dollars. Everyone there was so nice and asked me constantly if i needed anything and if i was k...That is what you call great service! Made an appt for myself to see Ruben in 6 weeks to keep up my great look and made one for my daughter Naomi to get pampered..... more

Ashton is the best 2/4/2010

I used to flit from salon to salon until I met Ashton. I trust her judgment and ability implicitly. She is amazingly thorough. She cuts, styles, and cuts again to make sure every hair is exactly right. Best of all, the cuts grow in beautifully, which is the best indicator of a great stylist. more

I am new to Austin and have had the same stylist for MANY years, so needless to say I was nervous and did not know which salon to go to. I found Ashton online...and she is great!!! I immediatly loved her work on her website, and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted! I have recieved so many compliments and already refered a co-worker! I just set up my 2nd apointment to see Ashton and am VERY excited I found a great stylist here in Austin so quickly. Whole staff was very friendly as well. Make an apointment....you will not be dissapointed! Pros: great service, friendly staff! Cons: nothing! more

Ashton Is the worlds GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!! 12/28/2009

Even though I have worked with stylist (I am a massage therapist) I haven't had anyone do my hair as well and as beautifully as Ashton! She is so sweet and is very patient. She truely did exactly what I asked for and makes my hair look freakin' awesome everytime!! I am a follower for life! The salon is very relaxing and everyone there (yes even the ladies at the front desk) are super nice! more

I have been looking for a good hairstylist for a long time since I have been in Austin. I found Ashton about a year ago and havent seen anyone else :) She listens to what I want and also gives me options. I have massive thick hair and it can be a pain to deal with. She does an excellent job with color and cut. I always leave happy! Pros: great location, great service more

Laura has moved....I was delighted to find her at SKYE Salon and Boutique in North Austin. Anderson Mill and 183 and the number is (512) 336-2639. It is so much more convienent for me and no one has been able to cut my hair as good as she does! I love the salon and it has the greatest clothing boutique with unique pieces. I walked into the Thomas Saverio salon and instantly felt relaxed by the atmosphere and the wonderful ladies who work there! Laura did my hair and she.. was... amazing!! I sat down, she brought me a drink, and we talked for a long time, she's so sweet and so attentive and my hair looks fabulous!! This salon has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Martha Lynn takes care of my cut and color and I have complete faith in her! She has a knack for creating a perfect look for you! I love to go into her and tell her to do something new and I completely trust her. She is also very talented with make-up. I have had waxes from people all over the country, and Vicki is by far my favorite!! she is very gentle and attentive. Vicki makes sure you are comfortable and that you don't feel pain throughout the process. She is also meticulous to take as much or as little as you ask for. I have also had facials and facial peels by Vicki, and I can assure you your skin will thank you!
