1970s 5/31/2020

in Portland Oregon, as a kid in 1970 I had eye surgery. So i had to ware a patch over my eye for weeks. on the way home from the hospital after the surgery, I was hungry my mom took me to Jolly Rogers east Portland. since I had to wear an eye patch my mom saved me some humiliation and feeling a little weird by taking me there.. Thanks mom. more

It's all about Tuesday nights 6/6/2005

Tuesday nights the Rog has 3 tacos for $1.50, and that's the only reason I can think of for going there. The atmosphere is a dank, smoky sports bar chic, but the tacos are great...horrible, but great. The tuesday night bartender, Rob, will remember you if you've been there twice, and won't even get irritated when you sit there for 2 hours and your entire bill comes to $1.50. See you on Tuesday...just don't sit at the corner booth, that's my table. more

  • Welcome the Jolly Roger, where "no one has more fun than we do". We are open 7 days a week starting at 9am. We serve breakfast from open to close and lunch and dinner items throughout the day. Come try our famous fish tacos and our fish and chips, which we are well known for. We play all sports all of the time! On Saturday and Sunday, join us for live music. We have service industry worker specials starting at 8pm on Sunday and Monday nights, "Quizzy Trivia" on Wednesday nights and "Eye Candy" all request music video mobile museum Thursday nights.
