Went there for lunch 11/6/09 before visiting Art Museum...excellent selection including specials and the price was very, very reasonable..food cooked as orgered and burger was delicious...very attentive, cooperative wait staff as well which is very unusual and made meal even better Pros: Great food, great price,great service Cons: needs dinner crowd more

Don't bother... 7/10/2009

I stopped in for lunch today. Nice homey bar setting. In my mind, there are two types of bars: ones that are interesting in serving good beer and those that just want to cater to the swill-drinking mongrels. This place was the latter. The beer selection was pretty terrible with SNPA and Guinness being the only possibilities. When I ordered a SNPA, I wasn't even given a glass to drink it out of. Mindlessness... I ordered a burger and it was below average in every respect. Don't bother with this place unless you like macro swill. Pros: They serve beer Cons: They serve sh*tty beer, poor food more

Awesome 2/26/2009

This place is very good for lunch and the food is great. I always get the buffalo chicken cheesesteak with Spicy Fries. AWESOME. Thanks Butch and Pop more

  • T.A. Flannery's has a long family history of serving up great food and spirits in Philadelphia, since the days of prohibition. Our patrons rave about our chicken fingers and hot roast beef sandwich. The menu includes an award-winning Irish stew as well. Our burgers and Philly Cheesesteaks are also excellent. We have an extensive selection of draft beers and bottled beers, which includes daily happy hour specials. Our neighborhood pub atmosphere is enjoyed by our friendly mix of 20's to 40's somethings. We have recently added six flat screen TV's, so you can enjoy the game with your friends and family in a warm inviting environment at T.A. Flannery's.
