Sylvan Steakhouse seems to be a big improvement over the previous tenant. I had dinner there recently and the food was very very good but I was extremely confused by the layout and the decor. Not sure what they are aiming for as the ""Saloon"" is tiny and barely worth mentioning in the name, comic like safari animals with big eyes ogle you while you eat, lamps that make you feel like you are in a mining camp hang over your head. Then there is the piano on an elevated stage, with a big screen tv playing sports. I found the decor amusing. But once again, the food was absolutely fabulous, their chef knows what he or she is doing.
