Everyone at Sundek was very nice to talk to. They seemed willing to take the time to answer questions, and understand what the project entailed. They even did some areas that were not part of the original job. I was very pleased with that. I am happy with the final project and what they did with my patio and porch. They provided good service, and the service was friendly and competent. more

We've used Sundek of Austin for about eight years and are very happy with their products. They always do what they say they're going to do and their products last really well. We've tried other companies at much lower prices and their products did not last as well as Sundek of Austin's. They've been in business for a long time and have highly skilled technicians on their staff. Scott, our salesman, was very patient with us since we had to have some drainage work before they could come to do the resealing. Cheryl in the office is also very helpful and understanding with scheduling. Everyone we've dealt with is very professional and we wouldn't use anyone else. more

T project was completed the first week in April, As of today July 19th I have been unable to get Sundek to come back out to do touch up work, or even provide me with appropriate paint so I could do the , job myself. Communications with Sundek is very poor and they to not deliver on promises. And they also do not follow through on paying for referrals as advertised. Overall they are very unreliable. I asked for a quote on additional work to be done,and 2 1/2 months latter still no response. I need to find someone else to do the work. RESPONSE FROM Sundek Of Austin: Sundek of Austin apologizes for the lack of communication and professionalism with Mr. Flemings project. The production manager over his project, was been dismissed from employment. On July 10th, a crew was on property and power-washed the entire driveway to address Mr. Fleming's concern with tire marks. On July 19th, a crew was on the property and driveway areas were re-textured and re-colored to address customer's concern. Sundek of Austin has been standing behind their products, installations, and referrals since 1984. Customer referrals have been a vital part of Sundeks business and to show appreciation, a payment is mailed to the referring customer after the referred project is completed. On July 25th, a referral check was mailed to Mr. Fleming for the referral of the Ramsey Residence. We appreciate your business and feedback. more

Crew was on time. Covered and masked everything so overshoot was not a problem and did excellent work. I love the way they tied my existing patio into the new decking around the pool more

When the representative form Sundek came, he was what I would call a straight shooter; he told us exactly what we needed. We had a concern about how our patio looked, and he assured us that the company could fix it to the point where we would be happy. We had a long porch that was built when the house was first built, and because it wasn't big enough, we added a larger porch it. With the draft that's going on and whatnot the porch sank, and it was dangerous because you can trip and to a header straight in to the glass door. That's why we called Sundek to come out and fix it. They did everything they said they would do, and they were here when they said they would be. They cleaned up after themselves and picked up everything. We didn't even have to pick up one piece of rock. It was left probably even better than how it was before! Overall, we were very pleased with their service and results. A. Abram more

Very nice. Good service and a nice product. Never knew it could be done. Looks great. Thanks a lot to Mike Cox who was very nice to deal with. Good info, did the work, no issues. Mike also came back and helped us out again on some staining work and really appreciate it. Hopefully he'll post some photos to your website so you can check it out - I think it looks very classy. Sorry I don't have a "before" photo but it was an existing cement back patio slab looking kind of rough. Looks nice now! more

We had our spray-deck done via the pool-builder, and they used someone cheap. Cheapness never pays, and we've had bond-failures every year since the pool was put in, getting someone to fix it was an act of God, it was miserable. Sundek stepped in, it's been fixed, this time it looks great, it was done without a big mess and without a lot of fuss, just professional and solid. Highly recommended. more

The estimating process with Sundek Of Austin was great. We had terrible weather where it was either freezing cold or raining so they call me and let me know if or when they were coming which made my life easier since I knew what to expect. When it came to the color, they had a guy bring out about four different samples and I felt bad but they did get the color perfectly for the sidewalk they put down. Everything about it was wonderful. Scott even called afterwards to see if I was happy with it. So many vendors just don't care so I really think they distinguished themselves by their service level and their courteousness. They were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. more

Total experience of contracting, coordination and application of resurfacing of our pool deck and garage floors was excellent. Very professional group of folks. A year ago I had Sundeck come out to repair cracks and replace the chiping surface of a cool pad around our pool they installed approximately 5 years earlier. I recently requested they come back and do guarantee work to which I am told the cracks they repaired is NOT guaranteed. So I paid over 3K to have them repaint the cool pad around pool? I word of warning...make sure you know what is guaranteed, and watch them. RESPONSE FROM Sundek Of Austin: Sundek of Austin's warranty is as follows: Contractor guarantees all work to be free of defects in material and workmanship for three years (bond failure, chipping, flaking or peeling) when subject to normal care and shall, upon notice within that period, remedy any breach of the Guarantee without charge by, repair or replacement, at the option of the Contractor, provided Owner has complied, in full, with the terms and payments in full of this contract. Due to the inherent movement in concrete, soil and wooden structures and possible lack of structural integrity of those substrates, no guarantee, either expressed or implied, is granted concerning cracks in SUNDEK. Sundek of Austin has been in business since 1984 and stands behind their products, installations and warranties. Sundek staff met with Ms. Griffin on 10/18 and agreed to provide crack treatments at no charge when a crew in is the area. more

Sundek of Austin did our garage with an oxy coating. It turned out great. They were on time and did a good job. They kept the job site clean and neat. The folks they sent were good to work with. I'm very happy. I have a lot of jealous neighbors looking at my garage floor now. They also did a deck around my pool six or seven years ago. There's history of the support here. I like that they're local and I like the job they do. The finish on the pool was very good and lasted really well. I needed some touch-up paint and they were really helpful and got me that for free. They're really good to work with. I highly recommend them. more

We thought completing the survey and adding additional comments would be easy. This one isn't because it's hard to put into words what a wonderful working experience we had with SunDek. We're not sure we've ever been able to write a review where everyone exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with our color choices, our stamped pattern, and the "old world" look that our patio has. more
