Let me start by saying, the staff here is absolutely horrid. They are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Even more so after you've moved out. Several times I had to contact them after I moved, and every time they were just a joke. Two out of the three times I was actually refused, they would not help me because they were too busy and I was wasting their time. They messed up noting my security deposit when I moved out, and it nearly cost me getting a new apartment. When my current apartment did a background check, they were told I still owe Sunpark money, and they didn't want to rent to me at first. Thankfully, I had several other previous landlords they were able to call and see that I am in fact a good tenant who pays my rent. These people are just idiots who can't process paperwork properly. This has been a headache ever since I left... I only stayed here for a short while but it was a huge mistake. It's the only apartment complex I've lived in that I wouldn't even consider going back to.
As far as other concerns people have had, the bugs weren't bad. Some roaches... but it's Texas. They will charge you for pest control whether you want it or not, might as well use it. The grounds were a little noisy, people were always outside late. Cops were there a lot, not sure why. Parking was never an issue. The laundry room sucks, half the driers don't have heat. They don't fix them, and you get to piss away money finding a new one.
I'm sure there are a lot better places to stay in San Antonio for cheaper. I stayed here because I needed a short term lease and this was the only place that I could find that did month-to-month. I really wish I had searched harder, it would have made things a lot easier for me. Don't make the same mistake... keep looking.
EDIT: I am here to update my review. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, they have. Upon move out, I owed $28. They charged me for stupid things (keys I returned, stove drip pans that I replaced before I left), but I said screw it because I wanted to be done with this place. September 9th they cashed my check for $28. Now, October 11th I receive a notice from a collection agency for $28, dated September 30th. I called Sunpark, who confirmed I have a $0 balance. So now i've got a ding against my credit report because of these people when I did nothing wrong. Now I get to go fight with the collectors to make sure this gets erased without a trace. Living here was seriously a massive mistake. Even now that I'm gone they are nothing from trouble. No one should ever, ever rent from these people.
