Not worth it 7/2/2012

Splash ghetto is a better name, faucet is bathroom is broken off. $10 to rent a small rusty (don't bring anything white) locker with a half broken out bottom. They do NOT send around anyone to clean up, so there are food, wrappers, and general trash all over collecting bugs. Smoking is permitted and it is not nice having someone smoking next to you on a tube in the lazy river and there were cigarette butts floating in the kids water areas. Pools and slides have a dirt/mold looking side to them where the water lines are. Bottoms of slides are bumpy and tear up your back when using a non tube slide. Will never go to this dump again. more

Affordable fun 9/14/2005

It's not the best waterpark, but it's definitely a lot more affordable to go to than some, especially if you're finances can be tight. They have an area for toddlers too, which was a huge plus. Make sure to check prices out around town for discounts, I found a great deal through HEB. It's a lot of fun for half the price. more

hot concrete 8/13/2005

Spalshtown is a very reasonable waterpark with out the commute. but beware! make sure to bring flip flops to wear while walking between attractions, which can be quite far sometimes. the entire park is concrete with no shade, so the ground can be quite hot! the staff is iffy think it depends on the day. parking is free and you may leave the park and reenter which is a nice feature. more

Cheap Fun 8/5/2005

Here is a great way to deal with this South Texas Summer. This may not be as extravagant as other water parks in San Antonio, but it is still fun. My kids like this place. I like it too because Splashtown doesn’t “drain” my wallet. The tickets to Splashtown are very reasonable and there are no parking fees at all, win-win situation. more

Family Fun Waterpark 6/18/2005

Splashtown is a smaller nice water park. Lots for everyone to enjoy. During the summer on Friday nights they even do a movie night. You can watch a movie while floating in the wave pool. Lots of concessions stand and lockers and the parking is FREE (unlike some parks). more
