Editorial review from Citysearch 7/5/2013

I love this place normally. Today I can't say it was the best service. Went there ordered a burger and garlic cheese bread..and really once I opened my order its like they should of paid me to take it.. Not all that great! :( more

Friendly neighborhood sports bar 3/5/2010

The food is better than average pub grub. The French fries are great! Micro brews are inexpensive. People are friendly. They could use some new barstools, but that's not a biggie. Pros: Good food, cheap beer, nice folks, open late Cons: Don't have all the sports packages on all screens more

I love Sinnott's! 3/9/2009

The food is better-than-bar-food with lots of great burgers and sandwiches and my favorite chicken wings anywhere. Try the sloppy joes or the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger (the triple X burger)- great rainy day comfort food. I've always found the place well run and the service friendly, but they care about everyone having a nice time, so if you want to be loud or drunk or unruly it is true that the staff will not be so kind to you. Otherwise though, this is a nice neighborhood hang out with good daily drink specials (like Happy hour all day Monday and cheap PBR Thurs. and cheap Micro brew Tues.) and a loyal following. Pros: Great food, cheap drinks, clean!! Cons: No minors allowed more

Worst Service Ever 12/21/2008

I've traveled the world over and have never experienced service as rude and inconsiderate as I did at this bar. It was almost surreal or like I was on a hidden camera show, with how bad it was. The Co-Manager of the bar actually YELLED at us from the moment we sat down, for sitting at the only open table in the bar. \r \r I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. Absolute shame, because physically and location-wise, it has potential. But definitely needs a management change from the top down. Don't waste your time. Next door is a great restaurant with a big screen television, Karaoke and great service, that is happy to take your business. Pros: Location Cons: Service and management more

Where MLB and the NFL are King 11/18/2007

This has been my favorite sports bar in town for years. The staff is the best I have ever seen, the food is fantastic, the prices are quite reasonable and the ""regular"" atmosphere is almost off the set of Cheers. There are plenty of TVs to watch your game, there is a sports quiz on Tuesday for prizes, and there are games like MegaTouch, PGA Golf, pool and pinball for your enjoyment. It can get a bit crowded on Monday nights for NFL and Saturdays for College FB, but the crew always figures out a way to make people happy. Come check it out, you'll love the place. For you PBR nuts, they have $1 pounders on Thursday. Pros: Great Staff, Great Food, Wonderful Neighborhood Atmosphere. Cons: Can get Smokey, Very Small Men's Room Can Cause Long Lines more

Great neighborhood sports bar 1/24/2007

This is my favorite sports bar because of the helpful waitresses and friendly atmosphere. The food is uniformly good with big portions. My husband loves the Cobb salad. We primarily go there to watch NFL (they have the full package) and college basketball games (they don't have Full Court package). The atmosphere is fun (often lively) during games while not allowing the uglier behavior some sports guys like to exhibit. I wish they would add deep-fried zucchini to their appetizer menu, but realize it may not sell well. more

Great sports Bar 7/25/2006

This is a great sports bar. The food is great, particularly the hot sandwiches and salads. Monday night deals are great.\r \r I agree with fella below, happy hour has a lot of regulars. These bad boys drink, gamble swear a lot. But I guess thats part of a sports bar. \r \r Great place. Pros: Food, prices Cons: N/a more

NOT QUITE CHEERS, BUT WELL WORTHWHILE!! 3/27/2006

Food (quality/variety) and prices are terrific. Go during non-peak hours to avoid the zoo with young folks drinking and swearing a little too much. After 9 p.m. the prices are even better than normal. Plenty of TVs and one big screen for watching sports. Pros: VERY CLEAN Cons: GAMBLING more

Our ""Home Bar"" 11/29/2005

Ge the turkey sandwich. It seems simple enough, just bread and turkey and cheese, a slice of tomato, maybe some lettuce and onion, but it will sneak up on you. You'll eat it and think, ""Well, this is an okay sandwich"", but three days later you'll be craving one like you wouldn't believe. Trust me. Stay away from the potato salad, just get the fries. Pros: cheap Cons: slow service at times more

Great place for a game!! 3/13/2004

Friendly wait staff, reasonable prices ('specially on Mondays), and great atmosphere makes this place my favorite sports bar in Portland so far. Highly recommended. Pros: Inexpensive, Accomodating, Friendly more
